and even with all those bikes there still seems to be a lot of automibile traffic. towards the end you see the sidewalk filled with bikes, as well as cars lining the whole side of the road
but still it is great to see so many ppl using bicycles. i bet overall because of it, Denmark is a pretty healthy city, environmentally and medically. Only ones that ride their bikes here in Houston are illegal immigrants from Mexico and the rest of Central America.

Yes there are, but laws are made for walking and cars. You're ****ed if you drive a bike. Denmark gives the power to the bikes. No more breathing exhaust gas every single morning from the car infront of you.

not really. There's still alot more people driving cars in denmark. The few times I've been in Copenhagen, I haven't actually seen this many bikers. and I've usually been there at rush time. So this guys either waited for the lot to come worth or they got lucky.

The dude in the video said that 37% of commuters use a bicycle, and from all trips 55% of people use bicycle. Dont know how accurate that is, but with Copenhagens population, that still wouldnt look like theres only few cars, cause they take a lot more space

haha that picture again... it's so misleading it shouldn't be used for any reason at all. Yes it makes a point but goes the wrong way of doing it.
As for cycling.... motorcycles ftw. low on fuel, low on congestion and much faster than pushies.

Yea, but you ge the general idea out of it. Its shocking how the huge, smelly and noisy steel blocks are given like 90% of the city area. But bikes are given nothing here, apart from few crappy bike lines that just start and end without any logic.

Fuel isnt that low, and around here insurance costs for motorcycles are insane. Electric scooters on the otherhand have really cheap fuel, no noise and are really fast. When were talking about inner city transportation ofcourse. Too bad the current batteries suck at winters, so arent that good in these parts of the world.
