Trance rift: Check
Bassline: Check
Female vocals: Check
The year is still 2005: Wait it isn't 2005 anymore? Damm! We are making the same stuff as 5 years ago this stuff is getting on for being Old Skool bruvva!
These tunes will go round the H.T.I.D Ravers who like their cheap pills or Meth & pose with gurning faces in white shirts (removed throughout the night) or for the girls pink & white fluffy boots and matching coloured clothes. Big around 2005 when Labour where ruining running the country & when Hardcore went mainstream!
5 years later: Dated
No one made a 1995 sounding tune in 2000 so why should this lot get away with making a 2005 sounding tune in 2010? A by gone era that Darren Styles and the other 'top guns' are desperate to recreate as they think that's where the money is!
Saying that I want to reacreate the 90s but atleast it was really Hardcore then.
Peace

Just buy the Vinyl, fark the tight ass digitals:)
Hixxy and Tecknicore tracks sounds slightly fresher with more effects. But other tracks by Just Hixxy or Chris Unknown are pretty stale.
Used to love raver babys but these days I find myself getting more and more into Electro edged or less trancey Hardcore tunes.
Tracks like -
TORN APART - RECON
TAKE ME AWAY - UNITED IN DANCE (DS REMIX)
ROK ONE TIME - JBC
BASSLINE ROAD - DARREN STYLES
BANG YOUR HEAD OFF - GAMMER AND RECON
WE ARE THE VAMPIRES - GAMMER AND WHIZZKID
If it was'nt for tracks like these, I probably would have almost stopped listening to Hardcore. These producers seem to be miles ahead of most of the other hardcore producers. That's the trouble with alot of hardcore. People are all afraid to venture away from trance.
Have to agree with smoogie in some respects.

Smoogie... u seriously need to go to a rave before you comment...
I go every chance i can, you dont see me or any of my mates taking Cheap e's or gurning away to the camera,
not everyone there does e's or any ****** drug, vast maj of ravers go for a good time, have a few beers & Dance the night away..
So what if tunes sound dated, they STILL get a sellout crowd everytime...
You seriously need wake up outta your mid 90's dream Son & Get with the times..
Your telling me the 90's were hardcore ??? Hahaha... Dont get me wrong i like early hardcore mate but its a lot cheesey then todays music.....
Go to a rave, see for yourself...
