Chicago bikes even have multiple gears, and the only hills within miles are overpasses.

That's right, hellokitty.com, and don't act like you don't want one too.

I currently use a single gear bike and its pretty bad. Accelerating is a pain and the top speed is too slow :/
Its fine for some no rush summer cruising though.

I like your new bike. ;) it looks comfortable and classic. My bike is partially 17 years old and a city mountainbike.

bikes are for all to enjoy... except those who buy them, then never ride them and get depressed and eat ice cream to cheer themselves up instead of going for a ride! wrath be upon them! rawr!

I respect them for eating ice cream above cakes etc, and to make yourself anywhere near as happy as riding a bike with ice cream you'd have to eat at least four tubs a day.

which equates to a naughty brainfreeze for about 5 weeks

Finally got my main bike fixed. Both rims replaced (front one has now a built-in dynamo) and new front light. Also adjusted brakes, gears and added winter tires (cause temperature its starting to go below 0) :)
