Me n my mate from Wales came up wiv a theory at Hysteria on saturday that as ravers we av s~~t jobs. So that wen God gave us ours life design he said
"Because Raver's will av far more enjoyment at the weekend than anyone else he/she must also av the worst job, to balance themselves out"
Now in our cases this is true, we both av shit jobs that we hate and r always gettin moaned at 4 being off sick or late"
Wot does everyone else do?

ah right check this....... i work in a pill factory but unfortantely i make vitamins not mitsubishis and i come home stinking of yeast every day and it smells nasty

Huh. I know lots of "ravers" that have very professional jobs. I'm only 19 and I pretty much have a career. I work @ Lexmark International selling printers and printer accessories online and over the phone. It's a really good job. Basically I fool around on the internet all day and spin around in my little office chair. Good times...

I, like many of the ravers I know, am a university student at the moment. I’m working towards a Bachelor of Science degree, then applying to medicine, and hopefully becoming a doctor, someday. Lots of work :P
To pay for my tuition and books (which cost a penis and a half :P) I have to work at the local gas (petrol) station as a cashier. I have to work a lot of night shifts too. Boring as hell, and people like to yell/complain all the time when they come to the store, but it requires minimal effort.
Best part about working the night shift is when all the drunks start coming in and they try to figure out what the hell it is I’m listening to on the radio. The look on their faces is priceless!

Shit job? Nah! I'm also a student....just finishing off an MSc in Impact and Explosion Engineering!! I get to make things go BANG!!!  . I finish in 9 days time (s**t I got 9 days to write my thesis and I'm posting on a forum...not good!!! lol) Then I start my PhD.... which I'll be getting paid good money for.
I also run my own business

right i do a training course at a restraunt called DR'Bs right 5 days a week 8 hours a day for a lowsy £70.00 a week
in the last couple of weeks i have bought 3 hs tape packs 2 hs videos

so thats £105.00 of two weeks wages gone already
plus a £40 pair of nike trainers
grand total £145 more than 2 weeks wages

I'm a student. I study at a community college called College of the Canyons (COC). My major is Business Economcs with Honors and Tarnsfer to UCLA.
I aslo own three businesses:
1) producer,promoter,dj for Monkeyshine
2) I build computers
3) I give financial advice.
However, I also have a day job.
I work at McDonalds.

well ahh k now i dont feel so clever with all you brainy people
but i am currently in my 2nd yr of my bachelor of applied arts visual, hoping to be a graphic designer.. so yer a full time student oh yay such fun..
on the weekends i teach old people and people who want and need to learn how to use computers from start up.. 25.00 an hour for weekend work not to bad but being a student is hardwork with lil reward well atleast until you get your wee paper that gives ya the 0000's..
im actually quite suprised that some of you people actually work lol i was thinking that you majority of you were youngins with nothing better to do then sit on here posting about your personal opinions on the scene and the music..
well didnt ya all shock me wowwwwwwwwwwwwww me proud lol
