there's more chance of hard dance/trance/style than hardcore on day time radio one
And there is already no chance of that. Maybe people aren't getting the aim of Radio 1? But it's certainly not in their interest to play underground music.

You would think it's obvious, but judging by posts here it is apparantly not.

fair points from everyone!
once upon a time DnB and Dubstep were very underground - times do change, as do radio stations, back in 2000 i would have laughed if you played me a piece of Chase n Status or Danny Byrd and asked me "will they play this on daytime radio"
yet here i am at 11am listening to some rather dirty "dubstep" being played on the music generator..
at the end of the day basshunter is only 30 odd bpm from being a your usual watered down uk hardcore ;)

i'm practically forced to, we have it on at the office during the day - i'm able to drown it out with my own music in my headphones...but its still in the background - can never fully be rid of it - then there are the bits where i have to have my headphones off for people to talk with me....
as I said in an earlier thread - its better these days because of the sheer amount of DnB and Dubstep they place, interspurced with trance and dance, so the really really terrible stuff (Kesha/Britney/Jessie J/Gaga/Beyonce/Cee Lo/Bruno Mars/BEP etc etc) gets more and more sparse..

Yes but it's that 30 bpm that means Hardcore will probably never make it onto day time radio.
