I've been looking for multiple tracks on the Evo label for a while now (e.g. Pilgrim 2000, the original Enlightened, etc) to absolutely no avail. Everything I see is either low quality, from a mix, off of a crappy (and illegal) filesharing site, wrong tempo, or a combination of the four, and it's driving me crazy. Is there some way I could just email Scott Brown and buy high-quality versions of them directly from him?

yrs ago he probably would've told u off for asking to buy digital copies of his songs.
i think they'll be releasing his back catalogue on a website such as trackitdown sometime this year. but no one is sure if or when this will happen, seeing as how he's been making the claim for ages that his tracks will be released. but it couldn't hurt to shoot him a msg on fb see if he's willing to sell them to u b4 they get released on a site like TID

No, he's not. Scott Brown is a firm believer that mp3 versions lead to filesharing. He had maybe 20+ songs up for download on his site, but they were way over priced.

Great, another person stuck in the dark ages. I mean really now, even other long-timers in the hardcore genre have wised up.

how to battle file sharing? Give every kid below 18 a credit card and lower the price for each track. Now that's an utopia (or hell for the family).
But seriously? Who can buy a mp3 today?
Most (if not all) on-line purchases are done through Credit/Debit Card like VISA and Master Card, and who can get such cards? At least in Sweden, You need a steady work or income to be able to apply for a regular VISA (not Electron or debit) or Master Card (not Maestro or debit). Oh and you need to be over 18.
A little story that happened to me; If I wasn't able to apply for a Visa when I was about to graduate from school (even thou I wasn't employed yet, I had a form of steady income), I probably still would pirate most of my hardcore music, as the only way for me to get them was on-line.
Technically, It's not the Artist's or some of the listeners/buyers fault that piracy is fairly high. There's of course an factor where you can ask a parent/relative if you can buy the music for you.
