Its really cool.

Read it, marvel at it, then sign it. :-D

Its about Virtual Reality games consoles, and how much way cooler they would be than Wii/move/kinect put together.

I don't know, people are already far too distract from actual reality as it is which, ironicaly, is far better.

Maybe this was wrong forum to ask people to sign this type of petition.

they had something like that in the 90s called Virtual Boy. didn't do so well, but the graphics did suck. who the hell wants to play a game in black and red?

anyways, why sign a petition? i'm sure that they're already trying to work on something like this, it's just that they haven't developed the right technology in order to make a proper system out of it. last thing i want to see on the market is another virtual boy-ish system.

What latininxtc said basically. They probably are working something it's just they can't make a proper system yet.

I'd probably hate it myself, I already hate the Wii, Move and Kinect.
It's a game, it should be played as one with a joypad.
If one did come out, it wouldn't exactly call it a games console.

Also Kinect failed.

For the Xbox 360, yes. But have you seen the surge of hackers using it for other things, playing other games, porting it to the pc, so many fun things.
As a result of that, Micr$aft is releasing the sdk for it, to bring more possibilities.

Also, op look here.

I'd be well up for this but as has already been said they will already be researching and developing it. Just have to wait, a petition really isn't going to help.

I remember playing a VR machine in Canada about 12 odd years ago, it was like Doom but with better graphics. Quite good fun actually. The sort of games they could do with one now would be amazing though.

Merge a version you can run/sprint with of these: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UYE6dqaereU (Or better still get Etnies to make them. Then they would also look cool as well)

A Motion Capture suit: http://www.inition.co.uk/inition/dispatcher.php?action=get&model=products&URL_=product_mocaptrack_animazoo_gypsy&SubCatID_=20&tab=blurb

A Light Weight Organic LED visor: http://www.3dvisor.com/index.php

And some Haptics gloves: http://www.inition.co.uk/inition/dispatcher.php?action=get&model=products&URL_=product_glove_vti_grasp&SubCatID_=26&tab=blurb

Then bundle it all with the next Crysis graphics capable console, why would this be such a huge problem for the gaming industry? I know what your going to say before you say it. "The price would be huge Mr Crow"

Supply and Demand dictates that if enough people buy something the cheaper it will become.
Because the price comes down in mass production along the supply chain per unit cost, untill all thats are left are profits.

Daaaamn!!

I didn't do my first transatlantic flight untill 2002, and I didn't go anywhere near Canada. Didn't see sight nor sound of VR machines in Florida, Washington, or New York.

You forgot the vest and helmet a group made for CoD(i think) a year or so ago. You put it on, and plug it in, and when you get shot IG you feel it on your body. It looked really cool, some where around $200, not bad and they looked cool..
Have not heard much lately.

Dug up the link.
