hasn't he completely left the hardcore scene? i hear orbit1 focuses all of his attention now to hardstyle. it would make sense for him not to post here at all, but i do believe i've seen 1 maybe 2 posts from him in the last few months

To be honest I'm not really sure. He seems to drift in and out with the odd post and release once in a blue moon. Maybe he's just finishing up his commitments before going for good, who knows.

Yeh he's also releasing tech trance under brk3 or somesuch, which while still being borderline shithouse is much much better than his hardstyle efforts.

sooo Andy was saying i cropped up in these where are they now threads and i thought, well now would be a good time to make an appearance :)
basically over the last 2 yrs since i got back from my working stint in London I have been ridiculously busy... i don't even know why i stopped posting... i guess you just get busier and busier and eventually what used to be a habit in frequenting the forums on a daily basis, fades out as you get busier and busier and lose time to frequent the forums...
in a nutshell, busy working, finished a course to become a makeup artist part time too... thinking about moving interstate possibly but need to save, save, save!
still very much into hardcore, but there has been a real lack of quality acts coming down to adelaide of late... the scene has started to die down here... these days the biggest event i plan for is Defqon.1... but, Scott Brown is playing in Adelaide in about 3 weeks which I am excited about because it has been that long since I have seen Scott Brown play... think i might be getting a bit too old for this raving business tho... went to a rave night on Friday to see Paul Glazby play his last set ever and my body is still hurting lol!
hope everyone has been doing well! thought I would say hi and I'll try and get time to pop in a bit more frequently! :)

Pretty much spot on there mate. A lot of the old lot seemed to have disappeared and, as it was said a lot i believe, the forum just wasn't as good as it was when i joined. That wasn't the only reason though. I'd not listened to hardcore for probably a year by the time i stopped posting. I only stuck around for the banter and the other genre and production discussion. I stopped the vein attempt at producing - getting nowhere with a genre that is going in a completely different direction to you is a bit disillusioning and the pressure placed on producing perfect sounding tracks meant i was spending too much time with the technicalities and not enough time just having fun. I still dabble, but just for fun.
