Interesting topic.

The a little while ago I was at a party...and I said to one of the happy hardcore djs that played "Wow it was really nice to hear a happycore set, we don't get many of those now days"
HE COMPLETELY FLIPPED...IT'S NOT HAPPYCORE its happy HARDCORE...IT"S HARD EDGY MUSIC...happycore is that old crap...blah blah blah...anyway he talked down to me in this negative demeaning tone, he said a lot more but I won’t waste your time with it...kinda killed the vibe of a great night anyways :P

I think it is stupid to make a big deal about that...people just use the word happycore as an abbreviation cause they are too lazy so say Happy Hardcore.

As for the UK Hardcore thing, UK Hardcore=Happy Hardcore.

Why people started using UK Hardcore? It’s mostly because there are people out there who have hated Happy Hardcore for a long time, even though they probably haven’t heard that many tracks if any. You write Happy Hardcore on your flyer, they won't come to your party. BUT u go and put UK Hardcore on your flyer and they think this is some great new form of music and come to your party and actually give the music a chance, maybe even like it...it's kind of like politics I guess :P
