so another video that is being discussed a lot lately (at least here in the US) is this dumbass who posted this video on youtube, pretty much just flaming over some asians. it's angered a lot of ppl here take a look
1st of all, her timing couldn't have been worse. she's posted this less than a week after the japanese earthquake & tsunami. had she posted this 6 months ago, i'm sure no one would've really cared that much.
regardless of when she posted it, it still was wrong of what she has said in it, especially mocking their language. she's later put out a statement saying she apologizes and regrets ever putting it up there. i'm sure this is only after she's received a ton of hate emails & fb msgs
btw, based on my personal experience with many different asian nationalities, I don't believe she was talking about japanese, as many that I know and have had classes with them are very quiet and humble ppl, and they're also very polite and keep to themselves

She's stereotyping an entire race of people as acting that way based on a few people she's seen at collage and you don't think she's said anything wrong? The mocking of their language is pathetic, and juvenile, but ultimately harmless by comparison.

I've been stereotyped as an aussie. Everyone i know has been stereotyped by their heritage. It's nothing new.
Okay maybe it's not right but she's not any worse than most people.
Besides for all you know she's being genuine and has had a lot of run ins with people of asian descent that do what she says.
I personally don't think it's that big of a deal.
I've been overseas and stereotyped as a loud, unintelligent alcoholic because i'm australian. Didn't really phase me to be honest... why would i care what other people think? Clearly we're not all like that.
I personally don't think it's as big of a deal as people are making it out to be.

Who gives a shit what someone on the internet says? And who cares if it's politically incorrect, she is entitled to her opinion. That's her problem, no one elses. Andy is right, it's not a big deal. It's not about Asians, people will always stereotype people like he said because they are dicks, not because there is any truth to what they are saying, so who actually cares?
