Been thinking about this for a while, the forums have no 'feel' to it no more. Drop in quility of Hardcore one thing but too much bitching going on. I try to brighten things up with a tune only to get slated. It seems that after more than 5 years it is time for me to take a break.
There was once a time when you used to have a laugh on the forums now it is just dull. More stuff going in Genral discussion than Hardcore so I think whats the point?
I wont be gone for ever just need to focus on other stuff like my job, my misses & daving up for a new high end PC.
But for the records, and for those who appreciate real Hardcore, here is the last tune I will be posting for a while.

It wasn't "just a tune", it was posting a whole bunch of threads just to link a song to something that happened to you. If you had kept it in one thread the entire time instead of posting a song because you just took a crap every day then nothing would of happened out of it.

x2. Best news i've heard in ages.
You don't brighten things up you just piss people off. You get asked nicely not to continually spam the forum but you continue to do it on a daily basis & after a while you wonder why people get bitchy. You even had your own place to post in & still continued making new threads.

Removed. I crossed the line with my jackassery here. I know it probably doesn't cut it, but sorry.

people come and go from a forum it's natural. Mortis left. He came back. Pretty sure Kathryn said she was leaving at some point too - she came back. And just to show that it's not just a family matter, i'm fairly sure i've left and come back!
The problem with smoogie is he doesn't listen. He posts videos that pissed a lot of people off due to the one word or one sentence before the video usually something "personal" which was a blatant self-given opportunity to spam the boards with what he thinks is hardcore when the majority don't agree. News flash smoogie - the music you listen to died out because MOST OF IT IS SHITE! There ARE old skool tracks i like. You RARELY EVER post good music. And you're like a broken ****ing record. My god are you like a broken ****ing record. My god are you like a broken ****ing record. My god are you like a broken ****ing record - IT GETS ****ING ANNOYING DOESN'T IT!
I'm fairly sure i started the hating on smoogie - most likely because i have such a short fuse for ********, but it wasn't long before i didn't even have to comment any more. 10 other people were doing it for me.
So what happened? He kept doing it, and we told him to stop. And what happened? He STILL kept doing it. So what happened? The board presented him with an opportunity for his very own topic, that he could update as often as he would like. This was sanctioned, and created by the MODERATORS of the site. Even people who enjoy smoogie's posts (the vast minority) agreed this was a good idea.
So what does smoogie do? He ignored the topic and keeps spamming the board with his shite taste in music. To be honest, good riddance. If you're not going to follow what the board wants a whole then you don't belong here. And the forum will be better for it. For all we know dozens of people came to the site, saw a topic from him about "real hardcore", realised that's not what they're into, and left. I realise this is unlikely and i'm using bad examples to back up my frustration with smoogie, but it still could happen.
Smoogie you're not above the board. Or the moderators. Be civil, keep the peace and don't blatantly go AGAINST what everyone else wants and you'll be tolerated. Hell, maybe even enjoyed. But it's become painfully obvious that you don't intend to do this, and you are clearly audacious enough to think everyone else is wrong and you're right.
