Sup girls.

Who wants to do me a favour and have a bit of fun at the same time?

For the few of you that use/follow my site, over the past week or so you will have seen that I uploaded the entire Whojamaflip catalog (massive big up to Top Cat and the guys for making those available for free).

I had an idea to do a mix for my site of purely Whojamaflip tracks. Since I've got basically nothing to work with here (Virtual DJ and earphones that are only slightly superior to iPod basic ones), and following on not only from the success of the HH.com Mix Competition, but after seeing the standard of some of you guys - I thought I'd put it out there, and see if anyone fancies doing it, instead of me?

If more than one person wants to do it (I'd be surprised) I guess I'll have to just see which one I like best - or could put it out for other people to vote on? Whatever, getting ahead of myself. Just want to see if someone fancies it.

All the tracks are available here. There are 26 in total:

Here's the tracks, and if you want to listen to them before hand, you can do so here:

Lovely, nice one mate.

To everyone else: don't be put off because Stu has already volunteered (potentially). He's rubbish and can't mix to save his life, so other entires will be considered.

I have a Wizbit mix from HTID full of this kind of stuff. It's a shame the people at HTID would disagree with the sharing of it.

i set the latency too high on traktor i guess i had too much open in the background and sadly there were some glitches in the mix...

oh well, it was only 30 mins long and just finished recording it (sadly it is not finished so y'all can't hear yet) but i did have a go!!

i rec'd it at 162bpm, and it sounded great! the tracks weren't even slowed much at all which is a plus too.

I will have to change the latency settings and have another go later this week (today?)

one nice thing about breakbeat stuff is that usually the beat counter on a particular program can't properly calculate what speed the track is at which means good old ear mixing is the only way the mix can be butchered properly.

This sounds like a fun challenge, I'll give it a go!

What sort of style can we mix these in? Like are we doing a standard track -> track -> track mix or can we mess around and do cuts and so on?

Also do we have to use all 26 tracks?

Good lad.

Do whatever mate. Go wild. Use as many of the tracks as you want, but you don't have to use all of them.

I'm pretty sure I have the majority of these tracks from when it was first released for free, so I'll give it a shot as well.
