when queen elizabeth dies, i imagine.
I'd have thought she would abdicate whenever she feels she can't do her duties any more. And technically Charles is next in line, but I don't see that ever happening. You need to be apolitical to be the monarch and he's far from it.
correct me if i'm wrong, but didn't they remove the possibility of him becoming king due to his infidelity during his marriage to princess diana? I know that is the reason why camila will never be princess, but I thought the scandal also cost Charles the opportunity of him becoming king?

Nope. Charles is still first in the Line of Succession, and technically Camilla (The Dutchess of Cornwall) is still officially recognized as the Princess of Wales, though she prefers to be referred as Dutchess of Cornwall because of how Diana was referred to. Makes you feel sick doesnt it. I bet Charles was sitting in the Abbey feeling awkward hearing the Bishop talk about loyalty and binding.

my thoughts are he didn't really give a shit. I googled for an answer and yea he will still be the king after elizabeth, BUT most ppl believe he will, or should, pass it on to william, but the guy doesn't look like the type to relinquish such a title that easily

Well yeah, morally that would the the right answer, but he wont abdicate his position, because he hasnt let go of his place in the line of succession.
Its a stupid ancient sysem thats faltered in so many places.
I'm still holding hope that Zara Phillips comes into power.

I was more interested in watching Elton John & his civil partner squirm as the Archbishop talked about a true wedding with the blessing of God, lol - You can't write these scripts!

I'm guessing it was a Protestant wedding, I don't think they're as homophobic as the Catholics.

The royal family with the money they have should at least pay money into NHS, homeless people etc
They have lots of money so why not help others in need they probably get more respect for that x

erm.....they do! they help thousands of charitys...
http://www.royal.gov.uk/Home.aspx people already forgetting about the media attention lady di got? the rest of the royals do just as much charity work (you can search a database of it on their website) clearly the issue is lack of understanding about the royal family! the queen does pay tax! and as i said earlyer - the royal family costs every single person in the UK.....69p a year - the NHS in comparison costs each person around 1500 a year.
