The votes have been counted, and verified by an independant adjudicator (my missus) and i can now reveal the top 3 in descending order.
But before that, i just want to thank everybody who took the time to enter, vote, offer support and offer bribes and sexual favours (cheers Jay).
Thanks to the 12 entrants for your time and effort.
Thanks to the 11 people who voted, pity there couldn't be more but i understand just how little time people have these days.
So, without further ado - DRUM ROLL PLEASE.....
Oh, just one more thing!
This was a very close vote, 4 mixes were in the running for 2nd & 3rd places right up until the last couple of votes. So even if you're not in the top 3 WELL DONE EVERYBODY, each and every mix was a winner in it's own way.
Go on then, let's do this!
The 3rd place goes to......
D-TOR
The choice of tunes, tight mixing and variation were well received and 5 people had this entry in their top 3.
In 2nd place, the runner up is......
DJ HIMAX
The solid mixing and variety were very well received and again, 5 voters placed this in their top 3.
And finally, your choice as the winner of The HappyHardcore.com mix competition 2011 is......
MORTIS His mix celebrating the career of DJ Ham was your favourite, with the track selection and mixing earning points from a massive 8 of the 11 voters.
Congratulations mate, take a bow!
Here it is again, in all it's glory

Congrats boys. I voted for you two guys as my top two spots (I think). Stu your mix was suuuuperb mate, and I'm glad you won.
Himax, your mix was technically one of the best I've heard. UnREAL. Big future ahead of you.
And finally Dean, thanks for making my sexual surrender-for-the-sake-of-points part of your opening words. In my mind, that's a victory.

Yes you did mate. And just so you know, people were very complimentary about your mix - particularly with the limited resources you had at your disposal

Wow.
Thanks to all who voted, I wish more people had bothered to vote, it's just a sign of the times sadly.
Congrats to all involved and Dean particularly. Great idea, well executed sadly not many others had the drive to vote.
It's not that hard folks, it's only listening to the music you "supposedly" love.
My personal vote was Ian Rushmore, feckin' fantastic mix that is.

Well that's lovely to hear. Thanks guys, I mean it. In fact, Dean even said a nice word about it, IMAGE THAT! Only wish I'd been at home with my real decks, to show you just how shit I really am, ha ha.
Congrats Stu. I take real pleasure in the fact that someone that's devoted so much time to the site has won the comp. Well done man :-)

I was kind of impressed, that every single mix had its own kind of personal touch. I never had the feeling, one of those names could have been simply replaced with another one.
to Mortis! I must confess you were not my personal no. 1, but definitely in my top 3.
