Hardcore Nation was half decent with the TNC crew involved though...
At least Stu Allan kept the tempo up around 180 bpm and he had a decent track selection for Hardcore Adrenaline 1 & 2.
I prefere the 3rd Hardcore Adrenaline (don't have then 1st one). Tmo Stu Allen almost fell asleep, while mixing the 2nd one. It's not his track decision, but he missed out the outros/intros to some tracks, I think 2 or 3 times in row.
But anyways, his mixes (and even the Bootlegs one) were way better than any of Seduction's mixes. Regarding his HA condition, the retirement seems not be a loss for the scene at all. This guy must have been bored to death of Hardcore since that time. I mean, it is an honorable idea to produce different sounding mixes, but wtf.

stu allan's mixes from the 1st & 3rd albums were pretty great imo b/c of the tracklisting. altho the 2nd one had some great tracks as well, he chose much more slower, less energetic, positive sounding tracks. too mellow for my tastes.
seduction's cds were just ok, never great. not sure if it's his tracks or if it just sounds like he was bored. and the bootlegs cds just got worse & worse. i absolutely loathe gypsy disco and can't understand why some djs would even touch such an awful track.

This is what I managed to squeeze out of someone (not physically):
"The new Hardcore Adrenaline series will be a budget series of mixes released by Nukleuz in succession on iTunes, TiD & HBD. You will be able to get all the tracks + a DJ mix with each in the series. Penned in to mix them from our crew are Douglas, Endemic & A.B. Release date is sometime in September AFAIK!"
INTERESTING.

Ha! Really should have clocked that. I'd only just woken up.
Looking forward to that then.
Will all the tracks in this new mix series be brand spanking new? Or will to be a mix of brand new and current/recent stuff?

Jamie Ritmen said his mix will contain rare remixes & re-edits not heard on any other album thus far.

I haven't been keeping up with Ritmen since he started copying Darren Styles with the over abundance of male vocals.

6.24 pounds (Aus keyboard has no pound key). Not bad for 15 tracks.
