Carbomb in downtown Oslo, according to Police aimed at the Department of Oil and Energy. One person confirmed dead, possibly two or more. 10+ wounded and bloodied up well, don't know much more atm. Couple of undetonated bombs, location unknown.
Uncertain if terrorist attack, but that's what everyone is calling it on Facebook.

Al'Qaida threatened to perform revenge attacks all over the West after the death of bin Laden, it's possible this is one of them. Terror experts are saying it's probably a terror attack, in which case most likely jihadists, but nothing confirmed, and no one has claimed responsibility afaik.

Norway are pretty active in NATO though aren't they? Sadly, there are plenty of groups in many countries who could have issues with military involvement. Just hope there aren't too many casualties because those pictures are pretty bad.

This is terrible, I wish these people who do these type of things would just learn this type of action gets no where. All it does is build up resent, hate, and goes against exactly what they're "fighting for", and only turns everyone against them.
They've learned nothing from the past wars, and now it leads up to something tragic like this.

The amount of bollocks bein spouted on the news really gets on my nerves.
If they don't have the info, don't bother with the wild speculation!
Now there's been a shooting at a youth camp, not looking good.

Likely related to bombing. Eyewitness reports (unconfirmed) suggest as many as 25-30 casualties in the water, kids trying to swim back to the mainland to get away... Heard it started with some Nordic looking guy posing as a cop was admitted to the island saying he was there to inspect security at the camp. He called some kids over and shot them down execution style. This on top of the 7 confirmed dead and 15 injured in Oslo.

The guy who got arrested for the Utoya shooting and bombing is a right wing extremist, or as he calls himself, "nationalist". Utoya death toll up to 80+ now, insane. He started an agricultural business in 2009 which let him acquire large amounts of fertiliser, of which he used several hundred kilos for the Oslo bomb. They've also found some explosive devices on the island.
So it's not Al'Qaida or anyone else coming down on Norway, just one angry **** with ****ed up ideas. I really wish Norway had stronger punishments than 21 years. One prison year isn't even a full year, it's 9months.

edit2: And yes, this seems to be very well planned. Assuming the creation of his company was the start, he has been planning for 2 years, but probably had ideas rolling before that.
