I don't think kathryn is being ungrateful, maybe a tad bit theatrical though ;)
Also I don't think you "owe" anything to this site kathryn, certainly not your marriage. It was, as i understand, the place where you met your significant other. As such i believe it will stay in your memories as once a great place. I hope you remember those days when you look back on us.
We can't however delete all your posts. As they have become a part of a topic, a part of our conversations, a part of this site. To simply just wipe the history would in my eyes be a brutal mistake.

So did I. Then, if memory serves me correct, I made some outrageous sex/masturbation comments (not direct at her, but in the same thread), then clicked on her profile and discovered she was female and then I felt dirty and ashamed.
I believe her name is Tanya. I saw that she won a facebook caption contest on a picture that Brisk put up a few months ago. She has also designed a number of the cartoon/characterised profile pictures that quite a few of the bigger artists use on their facebook.

what a surprise... first post back and you're already complaining... looks like things havent changed with you much.
To be quite ****ing honest the layout or the theme has nothing to do with the site's popularity. It's easy to navigate and the colours arent offensive.
It's more to do with the fact that hardcore is mostly shit and there isnt much good to talk about.
The people that hardcore is aimed at now is largely the wrong crowd to build a community upon. We've all known for ages that chavs flock in drones to events and they're not going to come onto a forum and talk about how good hardcore is because 1) its mostly not and 2) they dont really care.
As far as the forum problems itself goes if you wanted to be constructive how about you post in the website problems section - where there is already a topic about whats been going on with the site and why it is slow, and silver has been very responsive in that topic to weed out any issues. After i posted a problem in there it was fixed within 24 hours.
You can whinge and play the blame game all you want but at the end of the day if there was a lot of good to say about hardcore then the site would be teeming with topics - it's not.
The site layout ahs been the same since '03-04 when i got into hardcore, and it was overflowing with members then. What was the difference? Hardcore was good. People flocked here because it was a genre you could be proud of instead of most of the shite that is coming out now.
It also doesn't help that labels are shutting down left and right and i can tell you from personal expereince, even in the last year and a half since awf disbanded, sales have PLUMMETED. It seems nobody is listening to or buying hardcore any more because its too much of the same.
Not only that, but hardcore is aimed at a fairly young demographic. The vast majority (read: not all, but most) grow out of it and go onto other genres that are more socially acceptable and readily available club music like house and electro, and to an expotential extent, dubstep.
The audience just isn't there any more - go ask kev energy.
You would think that an intelligent person would see that the scene is crumbling - artists are leaving left and right all quoting the same thing (hardcore is essentially a shit genre full of selfish people - which is true, i can tell you first hand) and this is comparitively the same with labels. If there are less artists, and less labels then there's less music. With less music there's less of a genre. With less of a genre there's less of an audience and what you're seeing right now is the remnants of a dying scene (again).

But i digress.
Hardcore is on it's ass and on it's way out. If you think a community based around a genre is stronger than the genre itself then you're an idiot.
If you have suggestions for the site then post it in the board that has been specifically made for it and quit your ****ing bitching. Which, i notice, none of you bitching have done.

it's proven then. Ever since I got on the forum, I killed Hardcore! (really, I've nagged about how shit it has become since bonkers 11).
I would gladly like to help with the site, but as I have no knowledge of ASP, and not that great knowledge of SQL (still struggling with this on PHP), I wouldn't be a great help, unless it's for advices. And I'm still waiting to become a records moderator mind you! (if you want the help i shouldn't be the one to keep nagging, I hate it when I do that to others)
Anyways, it seems kathryn writes better when angry (or someone's trolling her account).
Edit: what scares me the most, is that the Scientology has an advert on here
