And does anyone know of a decent club in Liverpool, as its either so underground no-one knows where it is...or it doesn't exist...which I'd be very surprised at...anyway...I'm on a rant now...

I know hardstyle was geting a bit of a following in ireland as i know a few eejits and others who were on that bandwagon but i thought it was long dead? i even remember it being talked about on a topic on here, even there biggest forum or something even closed down

Well if not i havn't heard antone talking about it in a while or even heard of any thing happening to do with hardstyle in a long time, cause there was those hardstyle events going on in omagh, newry and even lurgan a while back, concept i think it was and havn't even heard it mentioned in about 2 years

It's a shame it's not actual Hardstyle though rather than some shocking watered down pop interpretation of it.

Meh, it's still Hardstyle, it's just changed. There's no other name for it really. Doesn't make it good though.

here in los angeles we have a pretty diverse music scene.
The main types of edm are house, electro, minimal, trance (the only artist they know is Tiesto), dubstep, hardstyle is getting pretty popular, and some sort of variant of the already mentioned.

I'm guessing we're talking outside of pop music here... Probably most poular would be DnB/Jungle, Acid Techno, Oldskool, Breaks and Psy Trance. Hardcore is still growing all the time though.
