Thank you to everyone that mentioned me in the favourable users comments. Really, though, I'm a disappointment in real life.
Thanks for mentioning me as a favorite, or was really meant to be a dislike lol

He 'likes' you, if you know what i mean.
Ha ha! I did it as a reverse kind of thing, but only as a nod to your controversial status on here. I do actually, personally, like you.
And of course, all the people I mentioned in the dislike category, I obviously like very much. I could add loads of people to that list, like Warnman, Andy, 8D, Quicksilver and loads more. It wasn't a definitive list!

Man, can you recommend me some good fiction? I havent read a really good book since the "tales of the otori" series (which is immense btw, if you havent read it)

I thought that was one of the shittest films i've ever seen. The acting was really poor, the script was even worse. The idea was solid but imo the execution was abysmal. I can't understand why it's rated so highly.

Be careful mate. I was really into cheese and ate a ridiculous amount of it over a few years - i'm now lactose intolerant. Fair warning.

I can indeed. Start with American Tabloid by James Ellroy. It's the first in a series of three. The second is The Cold Six Thousand, and the third is Blood's A Rover
"American Tabloid is a 1995 novel by James Ellroy. The novel chronicles three rogue American law enforcement officers from November 22, 1958 through November 22, 1963. Each becomes involved in a web of interconnecting associations between the FBI, CIA, and the mafia, which eventually leads to their involvement in the assassination of John F. Kennedy.
American Tabloid was Time magazine's Best Book (Fiction) for 1995"
It is truly phenomenal stuff. A blend of real-life, historical figures and fictional characters. The plots are extremely complex, but insanely well crafted. This guy Ellroy urinates in the face of any crime-writer I've read. He is just masterful.
Tales of the Otori, although not my thing usually, does actually sound very interesting, I have to confess.

Ha ha, really? I thought it was extremely interesting and thought provoking. A semi-ludicrous concept, but proffered in a very pragmatic and intelligent way.
Each to their own I guess!
