According to Kutski himself on twitter, his day has just been changed to a Thursday.

There's a Judge/Lawyer joke in there somewhere...
Is it necessarily due to this 'decline' in hardcore? It's not as though it's a 100% hardcore show, or even 50% usually!

Jude Jules over the last few months has been smashing out some quality trance sets
Sad to see him go... But a lawyer???
I think kutski is now on every two weeks on a Thursday from April so not too bad

Nah I don't think so either, Kutski plays so many different types of music that the show would probably go on with no hardcore if it came to it.
A lot of dance music BBC Radio 1 talent has been lost (and some big names at that), I think they quit but I'm not certain. Kutski survived though and is obviously happy to still be on R1. Judge Jules has apparently been replaced by Benga and Skream who are both Dubstep artists...make of that what you will.
And yeah Olly you're right, Kutski is on a thursday night on rotation with Chuckie and Heidi. So I think that means his show will be every other week, Starting April 2012 (To match the next business/fiscal year I assume).

Judge Jules was a lawyer before his dj career kicked off, hence the name. So he's just going back to the day job. Never been a massive fan of his music, but I did meet him once and he was a really nice bloke.
Radio 1 had always been about what's popular, and whilst it's sad to see Kutski get less airtime, hard dance in general has been on the decline for a couple of years.

He could also do impressions of Nick Robinson from BBC news.
