Not blown away by the previews but some good stuff on there so might consider buying it. I'd much prefer to buy a CD when it comes to artist albums though.

Opinion prior to buying the album:-

What's wank about the itunes release is that you only get the first minute of the track so you don't get the full vocal/beat/bass combo so it's still guess work wether to buy it or not. I'm not a recon fan and i don't know if it's the same demand from the 90's who i don't have much music from or not so it's a faith buy based on the basslines aren't horrid and there doesn't seem to be much electro. Above all of that the vocals are pleasant but not mind blowing so this purchase really is on blind faith alone with no previous liking of the artists or the series as this is a first but he;lls it's christmas and i need some good hardcore as this year has been wank.

Plus it's christmas!

Opinion as it downloaded:-
1 (heart bleeds) :- the funky wierd sound kicked in just after the itunes preview but it's not all that bad and the vocals of the track more than make up for it. I'm not sure if i'm a huge fan of the vocalist but it's very crisp and i like the sound of it for the most part of it. Funky stuff lets it down tho.

2 (sun goes down):- Really nice vocal and the tune didn't go the way i expected it to when it picked up and i'm not sure how i feel about that. It's good when the vocal comes back in with the beat. All round a mixed bag for me with stuff i really liked and bits not so much.

3 (Am sorry):- Great vocal! was praying for a euphoric blast and got some funky stuff that isn't horrid. The vocal kicks back in and it's great. Again a mixed bag for me.

4 (Automotive):- Right from the first minute and twenty i thought i was gonna hate this one! But to be honest i really like it in a funny way. I think it will be on ef the tunes i'm mot sure about that will grow on me and be one of those odd tracks that i like without knowing why.

5 (Like a rainbow):- I'll have to come back to this one

6 (Everyday of my life):- lovin the start of this one and the bassline is nice too! Quietens a bit too much when the vocal comes in but when it gets going it turns into a belter. It's a song like this that makes an album purchase worth it. Well done guys that's what i want from my vocal hardcore!!

7 (no way back) :- Good start with another good vocal and i'm really starting to like this lass. There's alot more feeling in the words than most of the modern hardcore that we get today. I think the track is undone by the lack of flow when the track kicks in again. I'd wished again for something a bit more euphoric.

8 (reasons) :- Not my thing at all.

9 (Good feeling) :- Did breeze sneak into your studio???

10 (powerless) not sure about his one

I probably won't listen to the mix but i have confidence that it would probably be good. Not so long ago i hailed Sora blue as a savior of the year somewhat because in a time when there's a wide varience in sound in the scene at the moment, that song ticked most of the major buttons for me ( I do feel that if it was made in 2006 it would have been just another tune as that year was immense and it benefits from a slow year). I was highly critical of Hardcore underground 5 because it wasn't to my taste at all for the most part. A lot of people liked it and that's fair enough but i thought it was bland. The thing is i couldn't really think of a label for this album and that's a good thing. It's a different sound to what's been around lately and there's bits i like and bits i don't. The vocalist is awesome for sure and i think it's good value for money. It is 10 full tracks for 5.99 which is good value compared with over 80 half tracks. I didn't enjoy it as much as Kevin energys my rave but it's second to any hardcore albums this year. I think i will enjoy it more as i listen to it more and i don't regret the purchase.

Thanks! At least now I have a bit more detail on it before I buy it, hopefully getting it soon!

sounds buyable, but kind of boring that they seem to have the same vocalist throu all the songs, and she sings what sounds like country music!
