Recently in a thread i had commented that Sy & unknown were my favourite producers of the year and i had no regrets about it. Another forum member quoted and agreed that it had been a good year for them and they hadn't gotten involved with the electro wank in the scene and it was all good and then THIS turned up on trackitdown!
http://www.trackitdown.net/track/sy-and-unknown/you-got-me-rockin/hardcore/3892528.html I also credited eufeion and he repayed me with this http://www.trackitdown.net/track/kandie-rush/i-feel-you-eufeion-remix/hardcore/3731703.html

I share your pain mate! Just keep telling yourself it's only temporary and normal service will be resumed soon

It's been awhile since sy & unknown have produced some pretty top notch stuff, so I'm definitely not that disappointed they've gone down the electrocore path.

I miss their more jolly style that was going around during the Hardcore Nation/Slammin Vinyl pres. Hardcore Heaven era.

maybe this is the only thing hardcore has going for it to keep it "alive".
think of it as a good thing, it's just another step in the evolution of the genre.
to be honest, i'm sick of hearing the same recycled old shit. bout time someone made a change.

Fair point, nothing wrong with change. Alas, this 'new' sound is already recycled from other genres that do it much better. Plus it's getting boring already.

To be fair to Eufeion though before even the dubstep stuff was popular he had Dub like Ice out and since then he's done Old Skool, Vocal Uplifting and some real nice cheesy stuff so I wouldn't say he's been chasing the fad - just experimenting a bit.
