other than it's long overdue, the bloody **** told us last year that now he'll make either Essential Platinum (the old label) or UK Dance digitally aswell.
Either he lied back in 2005 and only RECENTLY started fixing up the MP3s, or (likely) that he sorted out all the tracks he could to release them all at once?

WTH Raverbaby! Just open up Audacity, connect turntable to PC input, make sure recing and rendering sample rate is 44100, press the red circle in audacity and the triangle on ur turntable, and wait. Repeat with 10-20 tracks daily and get a few more buddies do the same shit. You'll see it takes far less than whatever you're currently doing.

The first vinyl I scratched was Benny Bennassi- Satisfaction, or a remix of it anyway. I noticed it had a weird popping sound every 20 seconds or so, but a few other records I messed with didn't. I'd rather he take his time and get quality music, then getting poppy crap.

Because of the basic nature of vinyl, sometimes when you play it you get a crackly poppy sound, kind of like a fire. Its just inaccuracies in the disk, but it's noticeable and annoying

Then why do they release them? And I don't expect many people to buy them (including me). Whats the point? DJs only?

You're grown up during a digital age. Alot (more than on here or youtube) wants the "more warmer" sound of analog sound
