I've got like an area filled with old UK Hardcore 12's, some dating back to 1995 from friends who sold them to me when they moved on to other genres.
Just curious how many people out there have kept their old records or just thought fook it. I'll sell them all and go totally digital. I was thinking on going digital with my old music too. But the cost and work involved in searching for thousands of tracks online would be crazy. Also some people say all the old illegal bootlegs and remixs on Ravers Choice, VG tips, Who done it... Are almost impossible to find.

I did the same, and I still got my NextGen/Blatant Beats vinyls even after buying the digitals.

And only way to get Vinylgroover stuff is by vinyl -.-

Rip & Sell? You're not allowed to own any copies if you sell the original.

All my vinyl is slowly warping in the loft at home. I went up the wall at Dad when I found out because he has about 600 records that have decayed over time, and he's condemned mine and all. However, I did save one. Synthwulf record. Eternal Knot :D My cherished record. And one of my own dubplates that was pressed by a friend for my 20th because he liked my Charlie The Unicorn remix :D

Ive kept quite a few.. All the best ones i still play in old skool sets (roughly 1000-1500 from 93 to early 2000's)

I have alot listed for sale on discogs very cheap yet they dont seem to be shifting.. I'd sell them in bundles if anyone contacted me about it

They aren't really worth selling anymore. The demand is far too low now due to a massive supply of cheap vinyl. Up to 2005 or whenever people really started moving to digital you could easily get 10 pounds for a vinyl (if it was worth it). If you look on discogs there is like 5 copies of everything selling for a pound.

as I see it the only vinyl worth collecting now is the stuff that was never released digitally, or stuff you want for old times sake.

I have a fairly large collection and I plan on getting rid of pieces that arent played/shit that i've aquired that have been released digitally, and using that money to buy more decent vinyl

not seeing the point in keeping some pieces from 2002-2005 that have been released digitally and are mediocre..they never get played and are taking up valuable space where better pieces that were never/will never be released digitally.

Apparently vinyl sold more units in 2008 than any other year after 2001. Its the best format imo.
