Heh we also gave you that French ****. You know the one that made you what you are today :(

Smith got sent off for England unjustly, what game is it again? Football? Oh from that red card I thought we were playing basketball or somat girly like that! I'll stick with players like Smith who work and you guys can keep your lazy strikers who never cross the halfway line ;)

dj_stey_iz_ere - So shit we beat you eh? Dont forget that. Dirty Manc.

I really don't know what the aussi leagues are like, I couldn't even name one club from australia, However because when I was little I moved to High Wycombe, I've had two season tickets there and I went to Wembly to see them get promoted in the playoffs from Division 3 to Division 2, But the best game I went to see was when Wycombe reached the semi-finals of the FA Cup two years ago. Wycombe were drawn against Liverpool, while the other semi was Arsenal vs Spurs, I decided to go to the Wycombe match because it's very rare a division two team reaches the semi. Wycombe played so well our players (compleatly unknown) defended so well against the likes of Owen and Heskey and unfortunatly in the second half Liverpool Scored two goals, but When Wycombe pulled one back that was one of my favourite moments of football life :) yeah we lost two - one but we lost to the eventual winners :)

i do agree with u in that the premier league is a great league, it my favourite anyway.

i tend 2 disagree with u about the spanish league. its quite entertaining to watch, maybe coz i only get to see the highlights, but the difference between their top sides isnt all that much. i find that Arsenal, Manyoo and Liverpool are usually the 3 main contenders for the title, not many other sides can match them all season

the aussie league is equivalent to the english Div 3 ... and thats putting it politely. dont worry about the aussie league, its shit. at the end of the season the top 6 sides playoff, and eventually the 2 sides remaining play a grandfinal to decide the winner and also, theres no domestic competition like the FA Cup.

Wimbledon, the crazy gang, winning the FA Cup all those yrs ago, now that was GREAT

Yep Man u were crap which is always good but did you see the lamest of dives towards the end by Ruud Van Nistlerooy, A poor attempt at cheating to get a peno. Anyway Spurs to beat Charlton today, when the bloody hell are Tottenham going to get a premiership game on a saturday this season? we've only had a few, I would prefer if all premiership games were played on saturday instead of like it is now with a few games on sunday and monday night aswell.

hang on, i thought that charlton lost 1-0 to everton and didnt spurs lose to sunderland 2-0 this morning?

Yeah, van nistlerooy spent more time on the ground than on his feet ... it seems that everytime he gets the ball near the edge of the box he seems to go down.

what happened to the poms in the cricket?
they put up a fight, well except for Day 4 ... that was disgraceful

Yeah your right I always get Sunderland & Charlton mixed up, must be coz they both play in red and are both crap. Spurs only excuse for losing that one is for one we played shite and Sunderland have just got a new manager, and teams always try that little harder for the first few games of a new managers reign. Oh well, I know Tottenham play Arsenal very soon, it's the biggest derby in the premiership, and are often really good games, probebly coz the teams only have to travel 5 mins down the road to get to each others grounds :)

about the derby matches, it all depends on where ur from. for someone from manchester, they'll say the manchester derby, or someone from london would say arsenal V tottenham. i think they're all great matches.

id have to say that, as an admirer of football, i love to watch the Liverpool-Everton matches. apart from this yr, everton doesnt usually do that well, but when these matches are played, my word, everton sure do rise to the occasion

Yeah but most Man u fans, Newcastle fans, & Everton fans know that Spurs-Arsenal is always the top derby because It's the derby that has been played the most since the beggining of football, and has the most goals scored over all other derby's. & I'm pretty sure that no other derby match's have both teams grounds so close to each other, it is literally a five min drive to each others grounds. The only two grounds closer to each other I think is Notts County & Notts Forrest but they havent played each other for a while, and it takes longer to drive to those grounds from one another, however it would be quicker "Swimming" what with a river seperating them they have to drive to the bridge hehehehe :)

Hey Toxic and the rest of you Aussi's I think England have just organised a friendly against Australia to be played at West Ham's ground (Upton Park) (First ever England international to be played at the Hammers ground), It will be played on 12th of Feb next year, but it will be a good game and it'll give us something to talk about anyhow.

It's also the first time that Australia have played England in England :)

Yeah, i read about that in todays newspaper. it should be good. a return match will be played in australia late next yr aswell.

the last time australia and england played was in sydney back in '91, england won 1-0.

beating england in cricket and rugby league is one thing, but could u imagine if australia actually beat england in soccer?

btw, i think im the only *aussie* who follows sport with a passion in this forum
