I'm a Leeds Fan and i would say that kewelly is over rated abit, now Alan Smith he holds the key to part of a future strikeforce for England and everyones critiscing him, at least he has passion and commitment also while we're on teh subject Paul Robinson for England No1!!!!
Like a bolt of lightning it's so frightning..Get ur brain now we're igniting

yeh, b4 kewell sustained that injury he was doing quite well, its just as of late he just doesnt seem interested
i dont think that alan smith is the key ... he loses his cool way to quickly, to many rash challenges ... there r other players that would serve England better
veron worth the money ... a bit ify ... when he 1st came i would he was worth every cent ... but after that there was a big slump in form ... i havent seen much of manyoo this year, primarily coz i hate them
why doesnt steve macca play for england? ... is he not good enough or is it because he plays his club football in spain and not in england?

Macca's not rated very highly in England for some reason.
Veron was well over priced imo and not worth it.
Alan Smith I feel should be behind a good few strikers in the England order. Anyways enough of My oppinions I'm off to watch Spurs beat their London Rivals Chelsea Today :)
Come on you Lilly Whites :)

Smith is a box to box striker! You don't get many of them!!! He's calmed down a hell of a lot recently but he keeps getting booked on reputation :(
Kewell is in the top 5 players in the world. Or he would be if he wasn't so lazy! He's got so much skill its unbelieveable!!! Send him to Spain then you'll see what I mean.

Firstly, hes calmed down? i think not ... in englands recent piss poor effort against macendonia, didnt he get sent off?
and as for being a box to box striker, as u put it, u have 10 other players (including the keeper) they each play their *own* position, thats y they r in the team. if he concetrated more on his own position he *might* become a better player
Secondly, yes *potentially* he *might* be a good player, but if u dont perform week in week out, u can not be classed as a great player.

Yeah Forlans goal was good but not goal of the season a long way to go yet and there's already some good possibly better goals been scored like the Paolo Di Canio double volley thing against Chelsea, and I can't remember if it was last season or this season but I think James Beatie scored a cracking 45 yard effort against somebody.

yeh, i toss up between Forlan and Di Canio
in the current season, Beatie's goal doesnt come to mind, it might've been last yr.
how much does it cost to go watch a premier league match week-in week-out ... and ... how much do ticket prices vary for, say, a champions league match?

My 1000 post on HappyHardcore.com and it's about football (it's all good).
Yeah well I pay about £18.00 for one seat to watch Spurs at "White Hart Lane" And I'm not sure how much a season ticket is coz I've never had one because I live a little outside London I can't always go to the home matches. And unfortunatly I don't know how much a Champions League ticket is coz Since I've been supporting Spurs like 18 years we've never been in the Champions League when we were in the Eufa Cup about four years ago Tickets were only about £3.00 - £4.00 more. Everytime I go to watch Spurs before you reach the ground you get people selling tickets for like £40 - £50.00 because it's allways a sellout down the lane and people do pay that much for these *second hand, dodgy* tickets.

I dunno how you feel about the best league in the world? I'm pretty sure that it's England, I might be biased coz I'm English but the footballs a lot more entertaining than if I watch the Italian league, Spains quite good but there's a big difference between like their top four or five clubs to the rest In England everyone can beat everyone which is what makes the F.A Cup the best Domestic Cup in the world IMO.
I really don't know what the aussi leagues are like, I couldn't even name one club from australia, However because when I was little I moved to High Wycombe, I've had two season tickets there and I went to Wembly to see them get promoted in the playoffs from Division 3 to Division 2, But the best game I went to see was when Wycombe reached the semi-finals of the FA Cup two years ago. Wycombe were drawn against Liverpool, while the other semi was Arsenal vs Spurs, I decided to go to the Wycombe match because it's very rare a division two team reaches the semi. Wycombe played so well our players (compleatly unknown) defended so well against the likes of Owen and Heskey and unfortunatly in the second half Liverpool Scored two goals, but When Wycombe pulled one back that was one of my favourite moments of football life :) yeah we lost two - one but we lost to the eventual winners :)
