Good thing Brisk has had a better track-record when it comes to Mp3s ;)

It's not really the same.... We have a track record of releasing stuff that is collectable because we care about it being worth collecting. We don't always hit abstract deadlines simply because we care far too much about longevity rather than return on investment. It's coming. It will be good. Certainly better than it would be if a more ruthless enterprise saw it as a tick on a list. We care, home baked style. ;-)

According to Brisk himself, yes.
I'm surprised that no one has been bitching over Marc Smith's artist album, as it has been in the making for years! But that will also get a release this year! Good things to come out of HU this year, with plenty of albums! And most of those artist albums! And some of those artist albums you will be shocked who they come from, but I am being tight-lipped as per Jon's request :)

And that is why you are largely considered the best label in the genre.

I'm praying marc smiths album has a history of notorious cd, with all 90's tracks on it!

What's the link between longevity and late releases? I'm not intentionally asking rhetorically or anything, I'm just really, really tired.
Is it like when you wait for a track for over a year after it starts getting battered at raves and by the time it comes out, you've heard it too many times to bother with? (Also a serious question)
More or less everything ever released on a top tier label comes under that description for me. It's like no, **** you, you can't play us the same tune hundreds of times and then expect us to pay for it after 18 months and be all like "oh, wow, this is new and refreshing"

I think you missed the point. He isn't going to compromise quality by churning out releases fast. What you describe is something different.

"Never assume!". First thing I was ever taught on my first day as a Data Entry Clerk all those years ago. Applies to a surprisingly vast number of situations in life as well, actually.
