I'm not sure what the outcome was. But N Trance were definitely the original writers and were said to have taken legal action.
And yes it was Brisk & Fades version of stay here forever.
Is a shame because it ended a great musical partnership. I'm pretty sure that was Fades last release on the label too. He was replaced with Vagabond shortly after.
Only reason I heard this was because people were talking about it when I was in a dance music record store in London at the time.

I have never heard Fade being sued. 'Stay here forever' was released in 2002, Fade left the Hardcore scene in 2004. Fade has only had 2 releases on Next Generation Records to begin with, hardly an indicator for anything.

never really liked N-Trance anyways :P Brisk & Fade's version (resung for that matter!) sounded much better. And considering Brisk must've had contact with AATW before (when he and trixxy made Eyeopener), he must've known exactly what to do when doing a cover.

2?
NG024 Brisk&Fade* Stay Here Forever / Retro Rush
NG026 Brisk & Fade Feat. Kelly New Sensation / Bang Da Beatz
NGLPS010 Force & Styles / Fade* & Dair Show Me The Sunshine / For Your Face
NGLPS011 Ham & Brisk* / Brisk & Fade Serious Hardcore / To My Beat
NGLPS012 Fade* & Dair / Starchaser (2) Burnin' NRG / Changing Everyday
NGLPS015 Brisk & Fade Radio Rockin / Get Fresh
BB021 DJ Fade Feat. Kelly Believe In Me / Vortex
BB022 Fade And Brisk* Mindblowin' / Do It Like This
BB024 Da Edge Shine / Wizardry
BB026 Da Edge Not Alone / I Believe
BB027 Brisk And Fade* Desire / Skillz & Stylez
BB028 Brisk And Fade* Want Your Love / Control Your Mind
BB029 DJ Fade Beautiful / Come With Me
BB035 DJ Fade Fly With You / Start The Party
Well, considering ALL of these where released in 20022003 or earlier, a fight between Brisk & Fade might've happened. Sad since they made the very best UK/Happy Hardcore fused songs ever

Blatant Beats has always been Next Generation, but with another kind of 'edge' (pun on da edge :P). But I still class them both as the same label, just like Jelly Baby is a secondary label to Raverbaby, or Evolution Plus to Evolution.

Not during that time it was. It was pretty much another outlet to put out their music since there was so much being produced from those albums at that moment. When NG had those albums come out, NG Records had no official releases, just the LP Samplers. Blatant Beats flourished during those 2-3 years. It's not until probably the last 5-7 years that Blatant Beats seemed to have its own complete identity. Still love both those labels equally.
And if you were a true NG & BB fan, you would definitely know that there was way more than just 2 releases that Fade was involved with even if it was just off the top of your head

Still another label. The -babys are different labels too. Evolutions i however consider the same thing as its just Scott Brown releasing the same songs under different names.

I'm not, not a fan of any label. Always been a fan of specific artists, never paid much attention to the labels.

Not to sure but i know brisk doesn't engineer so i'm sure fade obviously engineered the tracks they did together and other stuff for brisk that he wasn't involved in, but i would say ham engineered his own stuff
