I've just been playing my lost in paradise tape from fantasy island 96 and al;l the way thru its just starts making a screething sound and it s really anoying, non of my other tapes do it just teh ones from this pack, and these tapes have never doen it before, have i just overplayed them?? and is there anything i can do to stop em deteroating further, im now seriously considering backing up all my old tapes onto cd. If anyones had this problem n sorted it can u tell me how:) cheers

after 400-500 plays they start to get all crazy, thats just the way tapes are. how many timres have you played them

probably a crappy mic setup from the actual rave. happens on a impact/wotsee realmedia mix i d/lded

Gutted.....Im pushing 500 plays + easily i bet...damn they r shit hot tpes aswell:(....gotta go its gonna take sum time to back up 170+ tapes:S
