Shouldn't "everyone" include RaViN cAuSe We Can? Fact is, if I can prove that I didn't take the mickey out of RaViN cAuSe We Can, then by definition, I didn't take the mickey out of "everyone" - and your allegation, Mr Weba, will be proven baseless.

Mr Weba, a few points if I may ...
- I offered no "allegation" in my reply, only a rebuttal and clarification. The court of law is my area of relative expertise, and if you're up against me you'd better get the terminology right.
- Not once did I contend that your allegation referred to RaViN cAuSe We Can. I have accepted without argument that your allegation was that I took the mickey out of everyone. It, however, is an easily defeated allegation, as I will now demonstrate.
- As part of my defense, I remind the court that even the most narrow definition of "everyone" includes all present within the immediate context (in this case, within the thread). If it can be proven that there is even one person in this thread of whom I failed to take the mickey, then your allegation, broad as it is, must undoubtedly fail.
On a review of the evidence, it is clear that at no time in the life of this thread have either of the defendants (toxic or myself) taken the mickey out of RaViN cAuSe We Can. It follows, then, that said defendants did not take the mickey out of "everyone", as contended by Mr Weba. Therefore, it is impossible for the allegation to hold.
Defense moves that the allegation levelled by Weba_D against toxic and myself be dropped there is insufficient evidence to support it ... nor, for that matter, is there any kind of sound logic behind it.

Manic: The Defendants have sought proceedings in this forum to have the Plaintiffs claim struck out.
The Plaintiff has claimed in his reply on 06/11/02 that Messrs toxic and strychnine have taken " the micky out of everyone". This is based comments by the defendants made on the same date. I have read the comments made by the defendants and prima facie they are welcoming comments with useful information for the postor, although they are not in any official capacity.
Orders:
1. Claim be struck out
2. The definition of everybody to be that of the membership of happyharcore.com which presently stands at 4,831. This is in keeping with the broad Oxford definitions.
3. Plaintiff to shout a session for the Defendants.
