I'm so embarrassed to be part of this generation. Has everyone lost it, seriously what happened to us?
That's not to say that there hasn't been some absolute crap throughout the years but what's scary is you can pay decent money to get into respectable clubs up & down the country & this is what the DJ is playing. Why even have a DJ in the first place? He might aswell be dressed as a shepherd.
I'm sure that this repeats itself every generation and we just think that it is especially bad now when in reality every generation has thought the same thing about music of their time. Although it sure does sound awful!
Pretty much what Hard2Get says. Apparently some of you don't remember the godawful spice girls phase the whole world went through over 10 yrs ago.

Sturgeon's Law states that 90% of everything is crap. It's also a pretty good enumerative induction; there are mountains of kludge present in every recent generation of music, and this generation is no different.

Which includes the equally god-awful Silk Cuts remix of Wannabe.

I hear what your both saying but 10 years ago you didn't pay 10 entry to a club & be greeted by Spice Girls blasting through the system, yet i've found a few respectable clubs in Glasgow & Edinburgh playing tracks like this atleast twice throughout the night.
Why go you say? I have a problem saying no to women.

Depends where you went i guess. I'm sure you could have found a place that would have such music. My point being that you know what to expect with modern Hardcore. The genre has been this way for a long time now.

On-topic: Re-Force, Noc.V, Camzor and Riko's remixes are the ones I've heard so far. They're all much of the same(!) and it was a shit tune to start with though.

More than likely it's because these producers remixing these shittyass songs lack any original creativity to produce something on their own from scratch, that and they want to jump the bandwagon on the popularity of those songs. Only the latter applies to Gammer of course when he did We Speak No Americano.

Of course, if they're not doing it to excess, you could take the far less cynical perspective that they just liked the tune and wanted to play a version of it in their sets.
