Here's a mix I had a ton of fun making. I even dragged out my slightly-less-than-high-quality turntable. Big up 90's people and big up this site for feeding my interest in 90's hardcore. Enjoy the mix!
1) Jon Doe & Lisa A - Timebomb [Nuffin' But Noize]
2) DJ Shimamura - Make It Mad [Dynasty Records]
3) Billy Bunter & JDS - Come Alive (Remix) [Happy Jack Productions]
4) Vinylgroover - Phantasm (Remix) [Hectic Records]
5) DJ Stompy - I Believe (Force & Styles Remix) [Hectic Rewinds]
6) PPS - Party Cuts 1 [UP1236]
7) Blunted - Freedom [Kniteforce Records]
8) Jimmy J & Cru-L-T - DJ's in Full Effect (Brisk Remix) [Kniteforce Records]
9) PPS - Nakatak (Ver. 2) [UP1236]
10) Jimmy J & Cru-L-T - Six Days ('98 Mix) [Kniteforce Records]
11) DJ Force & Evolution - Twelve Midnight (Bang! Remix) [Kniteforce Records]
12) DJ Vinylgroover - Day by Day [Slammin' Vinyl]

Good mix that. I'm not sure about the Japanese stuff though, if you do a 90's mix then really it should be all 90's tracks
Other than that - great.

I have never found his name misleading. I have never thought of the name as a female one but i see your point.

It fits in with the style so it doesn't make any difference to me. It might not 'technically' be a 90's mix for that one tune but surely that doesn't bother you.
Good mix anyway, nice track selection, shame it isn't an hour though!

I agree here, cause Shimamura has made alot of stuff that resembles Happy Hardcore.

This is also a ****ing incredible tune: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kZly9w4_jZk He has some serious skill when it comes to making authentic Hardcore. Makes you wonder what excuse people have for not making such good Hardcore over in the UK. And sorry to the original poster for going off topic somewhat lol, but these are amazing tunes.
yeah thats brilliant aswell, i might take more notice of this guy in the future now, and like ya say, why cant others in the scene do it lol

pretty good mix, except tunes from 2000+ aren't 90s enjoyed the hopping and fist pumping
you need to invest in making a better stand for your setup, I was afraid your stuff was going to fall whenever you slammed a fader. go get some 2x4's, some flat head wood screws and a sheet or two of osb. you can make a decent stand on the cheap.

Thanks for the feedback dudes! I'm starting to think a better title for the thread would have been "Tribute To The 90's SOUND" or maybe something artsy like "An Homage to the 90's".
Really, I just liked that PPS release and Make It Mad a lot and they fit haha

Great mix, also another great Shimamura tune (at least I think it's by him) is in this set but I have no idea what the name is.
