Why is this tune getting so much praise? It's average at best, I can't find anything that makes it stand out more than a couple of other DS tunes this year - like the Sail Away remix, Shining Star or even You & I.

Where exactly are we seeing it getting praised a lot? I like it a lot but the fact that I included it in a mix and all my friends told me I shouldn't have made me think that I was in the minority.

You & I is at least ten times better.

I'd have to say my favorite DS production of this year is Never Forget. Qlimax is cool too.

It's one of the final nominees for track of the year at Hardcore heaven awards, and seeing as it's nominated by the public it seems tons of people love it. I also have read various comments on FB all year about how good it is.

EDIT: I made a mistake in the original post, Shining Star wasn't made this year. :P

Ahhh MATE. Never Forget is INSANE. Heard it live at a rave in the summer (with Rowan) and it was a beautiful experience.

I can just imagine you looking upon him with lovestruck, glittering eyes with that tune in the background.

It doesn't do nothing for me. I quite like it. Just nowhere near as much as You & I and Never Forget.

That said, when I think of You & I, and when I listen to it - I'm always thinking of/listening to the Rhythmics Riff Edit:

Satellite is a good track - incredibly catchy, incredibly cheesy. Track of the year it's not, but I can see why people would love it - singalong potential etc.

Satellite is pretty gash to be honest, definetly one of styles worst vocal tunes imo

Well, this is hardcore at its bottomless abyss. Whatever he did was like getting a vox out of a remix pack easily downloadable from any production forum or acapellas4you.com download the midi, open his DAW and drop his project template (e.g. WinningStyles.cpr since he uses Cubase), change the notes here and there, then boom! A remix is made.

I can't stand how so many people are actually making remixes of the same tracks over again, caning the same vox time and again. Yes, satellite is a classic on its own, it's been years people have been making tons of remixes of it. Seems like an American Idol contest also, and isn't Styles too late to drop this one at this point of time? :)

Sorry, rant over.

You do know that it's Styles singing himself, right? It's his own tune, so you can't possibly have heard remixes for years. :p Agree about the rest though.
