Why is this tune getting so much praise? It's average at best, I can't find anything that makes it stand out more than a couple of other DS tunes this year - like the Sail Away remix, Shining Star or even You & I.

Where exactly are we seeing it getting praised a lot? I like it a lot but the fact that I included it in a mix and all my friends told me I shouldn't have made me think that I was in the minority.

It's one of the final nominees for track of the year at Hardcore heaven awards, and seeing as it's nominated by the public it seems tons of people love it. I also have read various comments on FB all year about how good it is.
EDIT: I made a mistake in the original post, Shining Star wasn't made this year. :P

Satellite is a good track - incredibly catchy, incredibly cheesy. Track of the year it's not, but I can see why people would love it - singalong potential etc.

Well, this is hardcore at its bottomless abyss. Whatever he did was like getting a vox out of a remix pack easily downloadable from any production forum or acapellas4you.com download the midi, open his DAW and drop his project template (e.g. WinningStyles.cpr since he uses Cubase), change the notes here and there, then boom! A remix is made.
I can't stand how so many people are actually making remixes of the same tracks over again, caning the same vox time and again. Yes, satellite is a classic on its own, it's been years people have been making tons of remixes of it. Seems like an American Idol contest also, and isn't Styles too late to drop this one at this point of time? :)

Sorry, rant over.
You do know that it's Styles singing himself, right? It's his own tune, so you can't possibly have heard remixes for years. :p Agree about the rest though.
