To be fair there aint a mc who counts to ten unless its NYE, Storm is the best at getting a crowd really hype & creates an atmosphere like no other, his stage presence is 2nd to none, it all works well at a rave & is what you expect when you attend one, i'm still suprised how many people aint been to one on here!

i dont see the problem in the '10 seconds of noise' thing, it hypes the crowd which is what he's tryin to do.
still think he's a c*nt tho
Yeah nor me. I can understand with the other things though. Not that i personally find anything wrong with it. It would make more sense in a rave i guess although that's not why i don't mind.

As mentioned his stage presence is second to non. Just by him coming on stage the atmosphere can change instantly. Still a twat though.

I've heard that Sy has been at a few raves but he's not been to any htid or slammin vinyl that hes been on the flyers for, Whereas storm has been to the lot of them. Probably quite obvious that hes just avoiding storm. I was at Htid in Blackpool the same week that this whole thing kicked off and storm was there acting like nothing had happened.
Mentioned this on the clubland thread but I thought it was interesting that there isn't a single Sy tune on the new clubland cd. He's done a few tunes this year that would usually make the cut but he's been left off while unknown has a couple of solo tunes on there. Could be a coincidence but I'm pretty sure he's featured on every other clubland.

I think the more interesting question is, have the big names been booking Squad-E?
Seems Squad-E is being blacklisted somewhat, and it was even before this Storm vs Sy mess. TBH something was a bit off about his sets at HTID this past year. He played a lot of good tracks, but I don't know just seemed that something was missing from his sets.

He's been on all of the flyers but hasn't showed up to any Htid or slammin since the story broke. It's almost a guarantee he won't show to that one either

Squad-e has been terrible for a while now which probably explains his absence from the big raves. Can't remember the last good solo tune I heard from him. Any decent tunes he's done have been collabs.

Personally I thought Evora from Exposed went pretty heavy.
Since when has mediocrity and unoriginality ever gone anything but rewarded in hardcore though? Surely it can't be related to his mixing or production.

What in fcuks name is that opening track? The first two minutes of the video - the introductory sequences, before Storm comes on. INSANE.
That was the HTID 'theme track' used on the kick off sets at every HTD event a couple of years ago. It was made by Technikore and every time it was played it had a varied riff on the drop! It's class like. I must have heard about 6 different versions of it, all really good.
Here are some of the ones I cuold find, there are more. The gabber (last one) one is cool.
