I think the more interesting question is, have the big names been booking Squad-E?
The last few times i've seen him he has been terrible. Mixing has been all over the place, he has been far too drunk and I saw him b2b with Klubfiller and he barely did a mix. He was just fannying around on the stage with the MC's. Sure he ended up hurting himself and missed his set the following night too.

Yes! got that on record, great track. I think hen did some quality tracks around that time (My Direction, 1000 kisses) but has gone down hill in a bad way recently.

Yeah, his earlier hardcore remixes and tracks (Promised Land, My Direction, Outta My Hands) on Raverbaby were brilliant, even though he seemed to just appear out of nowhere overnight. Then after a couple of years I found all his tracks were too weak and cheesey (not the good cheese either) and I stopped enjoying his sets, I'd go elsewhere when he came on. Had its place I suppose but I certainly didn't enjoy most of his stuff.

I find it hard to believe that he would get frozen out for his sporadic and inconsistent release schedule or for trainwrecking a few sets. That's nothing other top tier artists haven't done at one point or another.
Sounds like he's just been getting wankered and acting unprofessionally a bit too often.
All of that said, I really didn't think Exposed was a terrible album. Lot of filler but several good tracks on there too.

That was the HTID 'theme track' used on the kick off sets at every HTD event a couple of years ago. It was made by Technikore and every time it was played it had a varied riff on the drop! It's class like. I must have heard about 6 different versions of it, all really good.
Nice one Ben mate! Some of these are quality! Might message him, see if he might think about releasing one of/some of these!

The one that opened In The Sun a few years back like 2009 or 2010 (?) was cracking. Think it was probably a variation on the same thing.

Worth a try, let me know how you get on.
Interesting fact: An intrumental version of 'Hixxy - Sacrifice' was once the HTID kick off theme. See below!!

Yeah god knows what has happened to Squad-E recently either seems to have just 'lost it'
Been to a few raves recently where his mixing has been shocking, few times he just couldnt mix the track and it just played out....certainly kills the atmosphere. Most of his new stuff is also questionable.

Seen a tweet from chris unknown the other day about artwork for the label being completed. Safe to assume that quosh is coming to an end?

That's what I'm assuming by his tweet. Would tie in with the solo tracks he has on new clubland cd.
Edit. Just had another look on his twitter and he's confirmed that there's no planned releases for quosh. Looks like him and Sy have gone their seperate ways.
