Half tempted to sell mine but not sure if it's even worth the effort these days... Never thought I'd see the day when I'd get rid but they barely get played now so it's almost pointless having them.

Given that there are 20 copies of everything selling for 99p each it's probably not worth the hassle for the 5 years it would take you to sell some of them.

Haha yeah that's what I was thinking. I've probably got some rare bits mind as I have almost every bloody tune from like 01-06, Hardcore and Freeform. Also got a sizeable Oldskool and Happy Hardcore selection. Then I've got Techno, Breaks, Gabber, Hard House/Trance/Style from back in the day.
Shame I didn't just do it sooner really when people where still after the stuff. It's a sad thought for me but TBH I just want to get rid of the decks, Serato and vinyl and buy a set of CDJ's.

only 2nd hand to get those tracks that aren't released digitally. Or special releases that I like.

What's wrong with the Serato setup?

There's nothing wrong with Serato really. Just seems pointless firing up the laptop, transferring music to it etc. when I could just drop tracks on a memory stick and ram it in a CDJ. It's always CDJ's I use when I play out anyway.

Yyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyes! I still buy vinyl
haven't bought any for a while though; whilst my turntables are out of commission there hasn't been alot of point buying more for the minute
though I'll add when I do buy vinyl, it is **rarely** single pieces on their own - I always buy in bulk (and rarely less than 100 at a time), off ebay. And then sell on what I don't want or have doubles of.
Of course, whilst I'm in northampton in march I'll be making an exception as they have a rather wonderful record shop there...but even then, I expect I won't be spending more than 50p a vinyl (i'll be raiding their sale sections).

I think I know what you mean. I got traktor scratch last year and the learning curve to the program feels a bit steep. Have actually missed just flicking through my vinyl. My suggestion, don't sell your collection, keep serato and just get a CDJ and add it to your setup. Best of all worlds. :)

I have a large collection of vinyl in my cupboard, won't ever sell it though. I recently upgraded to a set of cdj1000's but my plan is to get a 4 channel mixer and have 2 turntables with the 2 cdj's. Far too many good tunes on vinyl and I don't have the patience to convert them all to cd

If you just want rid, I'd suggest putting them on ebay as a job lot or as several job lots. It's relatively easy and always feels like free money when you get it. Even if it's not that much.

This right here. Now that I've got my turntable working and have a copy of BABY22 I've been trying to work Follow Me (Styles & Breeze Remix) into a mix.
