It's fine that you like HHC, good even. But you must realize that you are a representative of a mag that's been bashing HHC for years. And many people aren't going to be too happy about this sudden turn in Mixmags official stance when it looks like you all just wanna cash in. Ummm... no. Everyone was rude to that girl that came here and asked for a cute boy. Viv is a representative of a company that's been bashing HHC for years and it comes as no surprise to me that people are pissed off, and it shouldn't surprise her either. Add to that the fact that she refuses to even admit that Mixmag has ever done anything wrong (as proven by her ridiculous "charlie did kill rave" followup and refusal to appologize) and you get the words and attitudes fyling around the forum. And I think we've been more than fair and patient.
If you take those comments said to that girl looking for a date and paste them in here addressed to Viv then it would've been mean.

I've never really read much of Mixmag so I missed all those bashing articles. I did see that "Happy Hardcores's Last Will and Testament" thing on a website a few years back though. I actually thought it was more of a compliment...a stab at other genres and how much they rip off hhc.
Anyway, I think everyone is kinda' making too big a deal over this. I mean, hardcore will get commercialized or it won't. I guess some people want it to remain "underground," but coming from a place where there is almost no hardcore scene (Dallas, TX) I would actually like to see it more accepted by the general partying masses.
I agree with Silver that people should give MixMag a break and let them write about their stuff (forgive and forget, right?), but I also think they should have a page reviewing new hardcore releases, especially if they have electro and "urban beats" (what the hell is that anyway? sounds more underground then hardcore to me). It's their magazine though...maybe I'll check it out for the Brisk CD. He is my favourite DJ and this is suppose to be about the music, not a bunch of drama.

2. i would like to apply as a writer for one of your colombs or even do a new colomb, whatever, i dont have any journalism qualifications, which i know are vital to the trade, but i enjoy clubbing,raving, getting off me tree and other things like that, ( as of 99.9 percent of ur readers like doing as well) ant the other 1 percent is for metal teeth man only who buys because he cant read he just needs to eat the cds!, anyhow, i would love to wirte about something i could share expierences, share my humour, i generally think i would enjoy working for u, cmon viv give us a go, or even i could do a mock columb just for u see to my wacky imagination (as of all the editors) cmon viv whatdyasay?

yes i can actully spell, and no i wouldnt rely on spell check for the one simple reason i dont need it, i did spell column wrong, but one tiny mistake doesn't mean im illeterate does it?
