It may sounds like a crazy idea but I was wondering if it's possible to list (first) hhc releases in particular order beginning with the very first vinyl release.
Tbh. i'm not knowing much about the time before bonkers started and listing those releases may end in a good documentation about the early days for the majority of us.
not sure if this causes the next community challenge (mixing hhc only starting with the first release) aswell since most vinyls about that time are rare but this would be a good opportunity to involve the older ones which grow up with this music

1) discogs database isn't complete
2) where to start searching about the first releases?

The first few releases were on Impact (starting in 1992) and Hectic (1993). That is of course assuming you mean by artists that are associated with the scene as we know it today.

you can search discogs via year and style, so effectively you could find out on there - discogs is going to be already more complete than any other list out there

Would be near on impossible to list them in date order.
And like has been said before, whether discogs is complete or not, it's still the only realistic place to start.

I did not know this. Listing an entire genre might take some time to get through though lol.

same, but the function seems to be broken, at least in firefox :/
should start with impact then.
hard2get, just out of curiosity, even though you were right about your suspicion, what releases would you have mentioned if I didnt meant it that way?

Then i wouldn't really know where to begin, as my knowledge is very limited on stuff that has nothing to do with 'Happy' Hardcore artists, and regardless, it's not clear where the line is between what is Hardcore and what isn't. It's too general. 'HHC' pretty much started at the point i mentioned though. Also forgot to mention Asylum Music.

yea it can be awesome. but the database for anything UK hardcore from 2011 onwards is rather shit. not sure why that is but I can never find info for any of my recent purchases from a lot of labels. At least the database for the older stuff is really good.

But would tracks from those years be classed as happy hardcore

And kniteforce was 1992 as well, but again wouldn't be defined as happy hardcore

Why dont you contribute? Its built on user info. Add any releases that are missing. Its always been bias toward Vinyl and noone can keep up with the sheer volume of shitty Mp3 releases.
