tbh. it will be a hard competition when he continues with bonkers.
all of the prime names are on clubland (ukh + dubcore) and there is hardcore underground (freeform, ukh, breaks)...
i don't give my hope on a bonkers return; hardcore underground doing the job pretty well imo.

Oh no, I wasn't think he'd re-initiate the series. Just be cool to have a chat with him about it all really. The history, his thoughts on the AATW effort.
Not that it's possible to talk to anyone about anything at raves. lol.

Sadly, Bonkers is Resting in peace.
The only reason is because it was buried by that release by AATW in 2008? i'm not sure the year.
I know the last true bonkers release was Bonkers 17 Rebooted (2007). I listened to all the compilations including the John Peel session release as well.
It was a fun compilation, and i loved the early releases back in the mid 1990s. Also great to be a fan of Bonkers and aware of the newer ones coming out around 2004 onwards.

They had some licensing issues with a (or some of the) tracks, and it's also going to be expanded beyond one disc. It's still coming, just not as soon as initially planned. Should be powerful.
I'm surprised they didn't already deal with the whole licensing issues beforehand. I think if the issue is not resolved some tracks may not make the cut.
The good news for some people is that the longer the delay the more material for the project develops. And because of this, it will be a multiple disc album as opposed to a digital download as originally planned.
Happy hardcore underground will be a cd release now then, instead of digital? exellent news! :D

That is what Fracus or CDJay hinted at that possibility, not sure if it was on here or as a response to a comment on facebook.
