Event only went up today on facebook and already over 1,500 people are going, I've only been once surprisingly enough but it was hands down one of the best things I've ever been to in 17 years of going to raves...the production, music, variety of music and sheer scale of it cannot be matched!
So the question is, who would make you go to this event? The next HH in July boasts quite a varied lineup (one of Slammin's most varied lineups ever) with Darren Styles b2b Gammer, a rare UK appearance by Angerfist, Kutski, Fracus & Darwin, Petruccio & Modulate and freeform in the main room (first time since 2011!) from myself, A.B & Douglas.
Who would make you go? What and who do you want to see in the hardcore room?

I've been the last two year and last year was probably the best single rave I've been to. The scale, atmosphere and production of the whole thing is insane and unmatched in this country.
I would love to see... Firstly, Fracus and Darwin on at a decent time rather than the early set like last year. Marc Smith, Technikore, Brisk (no chance). It would be great to see some freeform on too, however, I cant see this being the case.

Agree with Claxton definitely freeform is a longshot. But It would be nice for y'all to have Fracus and Darwin, and like Claxton said at a decent time too. Marc Smith and Gammer as well.
Also why do people highlight how many people are listed as going? The majority of the time not even half the people on there actually ever do go. But still it would be good to see those people being 100% committed in actually trying to go.

It gives a good indication though. Because, you more than likely get the same percentage of people that don't attend for each event.
Must have been over 10-12k at Westfest last year, it was insane. Every arena was jam packed, it must have been close to a sell out. The previous year was empty in comparison.
Steven, if you ever get chance, this is one rave that is worth making the effort to attend. It's the nearest thing in size to the Dutch raves.

I'm going to do my best to make it this year. Never been. Frankly, the thought of 12,000 people makes me feel pretty fcuking sick. I honestly don't know if I would enjoy that. Fcuking nuts. How long's it gonna take me to get a beer?!
But I will go, hopefully. So many people tell me how good it is. They can't be wrong.
Who would I like to see? Bit of Freeform would be sweet, obviously. Olly always smashes it. Marc Smith would be good. Gams. Darren Styles classics set. Sy. Bit of Powerstomp'd be alright. Some Gabber as well.

Haha I'm kind of with you on that. I am not a fan of bigass crowds at all. Which is why I've always preferred to go to bars and clubs on the weekdays lol.
I was just at this year's beer fest and my god what a f**king crowd! About twice the size of last year's. And yes the lines were long for many of the booths, and the crowd barely died down towards the end and that was only because so many places were running out of beer!
The bathroom line was the worst I think we were in line for 15 minutes at least haha.
But with a hardcore music event I think I can stomach that bigass crowd. Especially since I don't go there to get drunk I go for the music, so I'll barely be drinking that much.
Sadly more than likely not this year Ben, but perhaps next year!

Don't worry about cues for bars or toilets at Westfest. Straight to the front and served immediately. However, you will pay for the prices, ouch!!!
There is also a Gabber room Jay. Ophidian played last year!! My favourite, absolutely sick!!!
It's worth it just for the spectacle. The hardcore room goes so far back full of people it's crazy. Then the main, multi genre arena is just.... WOW!!!
The sound last year was very very good too. The quality was brilliant for an event of its size. Probably one of the best I've heard. Really crisp and clear.
Marc Smith and Whizzkid was one of my favourite sets last year, crazy times!!

Yeah agreed with Thumpa, I DJed at Westfest 2 years running, was an amazing experience, the people were really into it and there seemed to be no BS just a good time.
