Yes.

disagree, although a good remix it doesn't quiet have the 'oomph' of the subbass on the original or the superior slipmatt remix

The Ham remix is the best version of My Own imo.

The Frisky & Hujib remix of Fire In The Sky was way better than the original I always thought

Two that spring to mind:

Heaven 7 - This Life (Styles and Breeze Remix)
Heaven 7 - Dance With Me (Joey Riot Remix)

In my opinion obviously, but the remix of this life is probably my second favourite hardcore track.

I didn't like the remix so much. It seemed like a totally different instrumental track, with the acapella slammed over the top of it. Something Gammer might do if he were playing live. In fact I probably thought that, and it sounds decent in that respect but didn't like it so much as a remix.

Agreed. The original is something else. Amazing piece of work.

Which? :P

24/7 original :)

I'll throw an obvious one in here...

Q-Tex - The Power Of Love (The Digital Boy Italian Rave Remix).

I never really got why the original was so popular, thought the riff was a bit too cheesy and it didn't really go with the vocal. Since I heard that remix I absolutely love it. Very cool remix with an amazing breakdown which makes that vocal sound amazing.

Ok guys, good effort but you are all completely wrong. The winner is

Force & Styles - Heart Of Gold 98 remix

Thanks for playing!

Yeah, this. It felt like a very lazy remix to me. Dunno what the general consensus here on the original was but I really liked it.

Couple of mine (which might have already been said):
Both remixes of DJ Magical - Rush Hour
Gammer - N+ (Kevin Energy Remix) (Probably a controversial one)
Brisk & Ham - In Your Life (Gammer Remix)
Brisk & Ham Feat. Whizzkid - Crazy Love (Gammer Remix)
Virtue & Slammer - Don't Go (Gammer Remix)

Most Gammer remixes actually. His recent remixes of Never Too Late and Right By Your Side trounce everything that came before them, I reckon, although part of that might just be the modern production values sounding so good alongside the older remixes.

Similarly, I think probably most Slipmatt remixes of happy hardcore tracks were better than the originals.

Well aren't you a smug one :P

btw, should revision mixes (aka year 're'mixes) be considered remixes?
