Right folks,

This might be a tricky dicky one for some folks but we have two fantastic eras of the Bonkers series spanning from two different decades.

We have the releases from the mid 1990s to late. The rebirth from the early 2000s which lasted into the late half of that decade.

I've listened to the releases countless amounts of times. I was aware of the Bonkers releases what were coming out around 2004-onwards but i know the first ever bonkers compilation i owned was Volume 2,

However, I just want to know what peoples opinions from both ends of the series.

I'm going to have to go with the 1990s, i loved Volumes 1,2 and 3 to death and liked various tracks in the mixes in the other series during the 90s... Though i did love the new hardcore energy stuff from 2002-onwards.

Bonkers 1-7 as well. I also speak on behalf of Latinxtc. So that's 2 votes.

The first lot for me. I have them all, but the latest ones have mostly been played once, maybe twice.

Hixxy's mix from Bonkers 1 is a piece of art I will never tire of listening to. Not perfectly mixed by any means but it's a brilliant listen.

Yeah fan of both but would be Bonkers 2000s (8 - 16) for me.

Let's hope there will be a future Bonkers album...I'd prefer Hixxy to call it a day with the Clubland hardcore albums and produce another Bonkers album!

For me it's 1-4. 5 and 6 were really poor though given the other choices. 8 to 11 were better than those 2.

Love bonkers! and obviously have them all, but since happy hardcore is my favourite style of hardcore i'd have to go for bonkers 1-7

A new take on the classic "What's your fave bonkers?" thread(s), I like it!

I'm gonna go for the later ones. 4 is massive, but most of my favourites are in the second half. 9, 12, 14, 15 - unbelievable stuff.

Maybe we should make our own Bonkers series?

No, I am not going about Zonkers, but rather, get the OK from Sharkey to use the name, and make our own free-for-download Bonkers collection? And ofcourse get the OK from artists/labels we use the tracks off.

Physical product only. And it would have to be of exceptional quality. Can't risk tainting the great name.

Can't ever see it happening, to be honest.

You'd have to find the money to buy it off him first. A lot of money.
