Aye, that was quite a tune! Personally, I prefer it to the original even.
I love both, but they both definitely stand on their own as amazing tracks rather than the remix leaning so much on the original. in no way was Darwin's remix a cheap knockoff such as this travesty of a remix Re-Con wasted his talents on.

Honestly this is why I love the Hardcore Underground crew so much. They focus more on making original material all the time rather than spend so much time working on remixes and whatnot. And even when they do produce remixes, they are always so farfetched from their original and easily stand alone as an amazing track rather on "well this is the same stuff, just newer!" Perfect example is Darwin's remix of Unlock Ya Brain. Yea it was released on NextGen, but he is part of Hardcore Underground. I genuinely was concerned it was not going to sound good, but holy shit what a track! Since then I learned never to question Darwin again lol :)
You say it's an unnessary song to remix but has anyone else remixed this since the original?
I like this remix. The electro part is just ok. Love the part after the second breakdown, sound of the main riff sounds great.

Now this I love! what a great remix! I heard it before but I thought it was Gammer or Darren Styles remixing it, it definitely sounds more their style. Definitely took me by surprise that it's a Re-Con. Now you see Re-con, do more of this stuff please it's way better than your Flashlight remix.
Speaking of Lana Del Rey, has anyone done a remix of Young and Beautiful yet? I would've thought someone would have by now.
