I know what you're saying but no one is making anyone copy their style. If they had the balls and originality to just stick to what they want to produce instead of what the top tier are producing then there wouldn't be a problem. And if you really are just in it to try and get a name for yourself by copying the success of others then it makes no difference what the style is anyway. Gammer is the best at what he does by having his own sound. Scott Brown is the best at what he does by having his own sound too. Imagine where they would be if the best they could do was copy other peoples sounds.

Yes: like the usual arselickers that surround you just like shit attracts flies. Those once will allways tell you how great your production is even if it's simple completely waste.
I've seen girlfriends of some DJs trying to push the crowds simply beacuse only her boyfriend was playing at the moment although the music was total shit and everyone left the dancefloor. Since their break-ups I've never seen these bitches again.
As long self-called top-tiers actually start to gain too much self-esteem and believe that their shit is demanded by everyone, things are over for a scene as long as we don't break up with such wankers and push them over the edge, such arrogant behaviour will never change.

Same for me unfortunately, expected more really :/ this new kick-snare style is really boring me now to be honest. I liked We Killed The Rave, and loved Darren Styles - Never Forget You, for example, but it's just not my style. Not saying it's shit, just not my style :/

Still excited for the album though :)

I gotta say it's not doing it for me. I can't even really tell it's a remix of Unforgettable.
Great production quality, as usual, though!

I think it sounds like the original. Just a different style.

The lead is a bit too dry and it stands out like a sore thumb when you first hear it, but then you get used to it. Solid remix, great vibe. :)

I am deeply sorry Thumpa, if I had to ruin your post by adding my personal thoughts to it, but this is how I feel personally more and more producers try to sell their waste.... and this scene does not stand alone with this problem. F**kin' Minimalistic Generation!

I'm sorry Warnman, while I feel your sentiments, I don't there's any way you can classify this song as minimal drop.
It wasn't minimal at all. It was a normal riff drop, admittedly with an odd sounding lead.

He's not saying the musical is literally minimal. I think he's referring to the fact that a big part of the market for this music is ravers that are fcuked out of their minds and will listen to anything if someone they love is playing it.

That's a bit harsh, Thumpa. Makes me wonder if my being from Colombia is the reason you've never replied to my posts or tracks I've sent you.
I make a living teaching English and if anything, Warnman has much better writing skills than other native speakers on this forum.
