you can get most of their tracks on albums like Rave Now/Rave Meister and other german hard trance compilations, but still, very good, two out of the three hard trance tracks on bonkers 4 weren't on any CDs so it'd be nice to see those released digitally!

is this all nothing but trance tracks on there? if so, wrong subject it should be under other genres.
Besides that, it's always good to see labels from those years go digital. So much of that stuff on vinyl only you will never see again.

Tough one. It was just hard trance *back then*...but yeah a good 60%+ is of a hardcore speed....
so many awesome tracks on EDM and other such labels - always blows my mind how huge the genre was over in Europe whilst the UK were pulling somewhat of a "USA" on that genre. though at least we were only 3 years late......................not 20 :D

The tracks were being played when they came out by Mark EG & M Zone, its just unless you went to Uprising, Diz etc you wouldn't know. These labels were definitely more of a Northern thing 94-97, the ravers up there just got 'it' when it came to this music.
To be fair a lot of the German sound was played in the Technodrome too, and Bunter and Ramos latched onto the sound very late 96, early 97 so it wasn't that late. I saw Hixxy play this stuff in mid 97 and then obviously Bonkers 4 came out early 98 and that introduced people to the stuff.
Anyway, great label!

ehm, EDM has been digital(ized) for more than 5 years already. It has already been on junodownload for that long, so why is this news just because Thumpa noticed it first now? :P
Edit 1: Seems like it has been removed from junodownload since then. Sadly enough I never got around to tag my MP3s from when I purchased them (last file edit was in 2011)
Edit 2: Actually, I found the tag. I purchased the tracks already in 2006 :P

as well as Rave Now and Ravemiester- D.trance is another cd compilation which has assloads of EDM tracks and other german hard trance tracks too - reason I mention this is because it looks like they are released via the german arm of Play It Again Sam, and all of pias's stuff should be available digital through ITunes and other such stores?

I fairly resently bought D-Trance 10 for 3 euro. I like it mostly because DJ Liquid stole Gary's 2nd half of the mixed third CD :P

If you want EDM label tracks buy Adrenalin (The Sound Of EDM Records) vol. 1-5.
