Aye, I have that one on vinyl. And that '96 remix (I think Breeze had something to do with it) on a vinyl album, don't think it had a proper release though.
Which 96 remix was that then? Is it that one on one of the Rez albums?

That's the one, yeah, I couldn't think of the name of it. Fades out at the end like half the other tracks but it could well have just been produced this way.
And that white label on IMO definitely was the Vinylgroover version, I remember rushing to get it on IMO thinking it was going to sell out within minutes. I actually quite like it, still play it now.

i found a white label of the bonkers one mix in a local store in newcastle a few years ago but the sound quality was shocking on it, like it had been recorded from an old tape or something, BUT it did have the mixing outro bars on it so atleast it wasn't a rip staright from the album.
It might resurface again who knows, after all theres a full rip of the evolve mix of together forever on youtube now......

That's just an illegal vinyl cut of the mix that's on Bonkers though so it's useless to anyone really. Anyone could get the mix cut to vinyl if they wanted.

just like most 90's hardcore?
the vinyl i played in the shop had the mixing bars at the end so it wasn't a rip from the bonkers 1 album, also it was the correct speed at the start not the slowed down bit (33rpm) like at the start of hixxys mix

still odd though, I definitely remember hearing a 96'ish tape where hixxy opened with the bonkers version. Can't remember if it has the party time scratches over it though, I'll see if I can dig up the tape

no idea, i didn't check and it was 10 years ago, my memory's like a sieve these days but probably not, there's a dj up here (north east) that gets dodgy whites printed up and sells them onto shops and stuff, not sure if it still go's on though, some of them were terrible copies as well

Live at adrenalin fusion 96', the hixxy tape starts with the tune and there is absolutely no scratching over the track like on the bonkers cd
check it:

Hixxy would have had a dub plate of it. The same way he played it on Bonkers to begin with.

I was outbid on a dub plate of this (supposedly) way back around 2002-03, the guy had it listed as previously belonging to hixxy.
In about 2007 there was a guy in Scotland made a few tunes more along the simple style of old makina. He made a mix of this but it was never released and I can only find a couple of butchered versions on youtube. I have the full 320rip he sent me somewhere and had it cut to a dub, I played a couple of his tracks a few months before pressing so a bit of demand would build. Its pretty similar to the bonkers 1 mix
