imo. its common to remix stuff as beginner before getting the grip and find your own production style ("original work"), and since olly p only got popular this year, he reached much within less time.

Looking at it from a third party perspective, your all overreacting a bit, the only person who has the right to get annoyed at this thread is Olly P - Everyone is entitled to an opinion and Elliott hasn't exaclty gone out and said Olly P is shit, just that his tunes sound familiar.
Also I didn't know about Olly P before this, so consider it actually beneficial and that Elliott has at least drawn some attention to the guy. People can put there own spin on a thread and this one covers both grounds of an argument from all you guys so it's actually good and not unnecessary.

I don't want to get involved in this any further. It's never been my intention on here to deliberately argue with or upset anyone.
I appreciate those who understood where I was coming from and thanks to the majority of people who posted reasonable, levelled replies addressing the actual content of the topic even though we differ in our opinions.

Mine are getting on a bit now and it's the first time we've had dogs so I don't know how I'm gonna handle it when they pass but I'm definitely not looking forward to it! They say men are hit the hardest by it!
