What makes you exactly think so? Once the Hardcore scene was strong enough to produce #1s in the music charts and music TV channels were full of Hardcore and other rave genres.

I don't really get this. There's more than enough DnB heads that love Hardcore & more than enough Hardcore heads that love DnB. The idiots that try to create some sort of divide are....well idiots.

Mixing Dnb is great & mixing Hardcore is great but mixing between the 2 is unreal. Surely this is nothing new, it's been done for decades now!

Yeah, it's infuriating.

Besides, we all know that no style of hardcore is cool and it never will be. I think Breeze has a hard time coming to terms with that reality, bless him.

This....^

Tbh Breeze always seemed to be on the outskirts , even in his collaborations there was always DNA or someone else engineering...he was probably there to make the tea and got acknowledged for it ...Even on his own 'INfinity' Label ,most of the half decent tunes are remixes by others such as Brisk ....None of his stuff really fitted in with what was popular....fair enough if you're minted and just produce stuff you like ...but it doesn't help your rep lol
One of my m8s knew him and he used to hang around with a load of handbag house producers...i rest my case

Gabber/Dutch Hardcore seems to be cool because of Q-dance

Ok, q-dance's primary focus has been Hardstyle, and Gabber Hardcore has been "cool" before hardstyle and q-dance were around. And it still is with events like Dominator, Syndicate, Toxicator, and even stages at q-dance.

I loved reading this. He's kind of like an enormous leech or some kind of creature that can only survive through symbiotically living off something else. Im sure theres a 1960s horror film that depicts his whole career perfectly somewhere

The blob came to mind, but that didn't come out during the 1960s.

I let out a little burst of laughter there :D
The Blob (1958). Synopsis: A Hardcore fan ghost produces with a load of more talented people and establishes himself as the biggest waste of space both in real life and on the internet.

I think Hardcore has attracted different crowds ever since it left jungle and became Happy Hardcore. The same after the big dip in late 99, early 2000 when it became more trance influenced. Later when it got more about minimal drops and electro influences in 2005. And now with drumstep ~2011

I can't say I have seen in with my own eyes, but the mouths of USH and here tells that story.

None of that says anything about the mentality of the ravers though.

Ravers in particular, maybe not, but regular listeners/buyers, maybe.

haha quality

But if you only checked out their "About Us" page on the website......you'd know which film it was!

It states:

"Like UK raves answer to The Avengers, a selection of the scenes most promising, talented
and accomplished record breaking, award winning artists have collaborated on a project that
will change the game as we know it forever."

Bloody hell....the messiah has arisen...everybody get ready to tug your forelock and bow in the prescence
of greatness!
