Nice sarcasm! I seriously loved it!
If JD-Kid keeps up his good work he is going to play a serious nomination of a breakthrough Freeform producer (if this doesn't even already happen this year).
Moogle, 3Star, Triplestar and Dys7 are really good names the majority of you mentioned as well.
It's great to recognise that Chris Ross receives more and more attention these days and will keep on spreading the lovely memory of lost NSR.
To my opinion also Eufeion, Ionosphere and even Sc@r are still being underrated.
I know I personally sounded more optimistic in this forum 3 years ago regarding the development of Hardcore music in the future, but I didn't expected such a deadlock in music generally. These days it seem that everyone is running around like chickens with their heads cut off - in every genre.
What keeps me up remaining optimistic these days is that in this forum everybody has developed such a passion for this music and the amount of active people grows. Let some horny 12-14 w**kers and c**ts vote Kutski being the best Freeform DJ/producer, we know the truth! And I really don't want to sound disrespectful to Kutski: he's doing a good job supporting electronic music and rave culture; he even was banished for playing such stuff due his show was moved away from the main focus!
I had been used to listen to rave music on commercial radio stations for a few years back in the 90's, but today I'd desperate to be able to listen to someone like Kutski on a main German radio station - even if he doesn't play my personal favorite music. The vote might turned out to be wrong (it's completely all up to your own points of view), but I can not blame him personally in any way.
All the small presents we'll receive in 2014 will make us stronger and stronger and rise again - a great track that causes goosebumps on our skins, a smile into your face or your smile to the face of any other person.
2013 was such an emotional crazy year year to me! I'm so f**kin' interested what 2014 is going to offer to me!

Daniel Seven
how good is that - https://soundcloud.com/daniel7/valley-f-c-hardcore T2Kazuya - how good is that - https://soundcloud.com/t2kazuya/lineage Other names, jD-KiD, A.B will be huge, Olly P if he keeps making stuff like that tune on HU6...more but I can't think right now. I can smell talent a mile off, and some of these guys are pure money.

On a freeform tip, Narkotik (some strong tracks already, signed a monster to the final album), Qygen will blow everyone's minds, Transcend will impress again.

Spot on. He doesn't get enough credit on here (for obvious reasons).

Was it Supreme or Sunset Regime that was heavily criticized about stealing tracks or whatnot? I remember there being a huge feud on here between him and someone else, maybe Stormtrooper? Was quite a mess.

Moogle,
Ahh nice, reminded me of something!
Moogle has recently changed his name to Chasers
https://www.facebook.com/djchasers?fref=ts I imagine he'll be busy pushing the new name next year, so I'll tip Chasers for a big 2014!

It was both of them IIRC. It had to do with Stormtrooper not getting paid for working on a few tracks with them on some god-awful CD mix that NOBODY got paid for.

Well I don't remember those details exactly but I found the thread(s)!
http://www.happyhardcore.com/forums/topic.asp?ARCHIVE=&whichpage=1&TOPIC_ID=44391 http://www.happyhardcore.com/forums/topic.asp?topic_id=44421 Sadly the actual online battle between Stormtrooper and Supreme is on ush.net. So sad the one and only time that site would have served a purpose and it's not there anymore.

Since ush.net is still up (technically), I think Paul still has the archieve, but if he's willing to give that out, I dont know.

I think 3Star is doing good things (also a bit of bias as we're from the same town!) and I really like K-Tops! if any of you have heard of him, he has a such a warm feel good vibe to his tracks, something a little different that I really like. But apart from them then much the same as people have said, Olly P etc, all doing good things and Elipton too. :-)

Helblinde I hope will take off, he's had a rough few months this year.
A name that pops to mind in the J-Core scene is Blacky. I mixed a couple of his tunes in 2012, and I've seen his name along side some bigger names this year which is great to see.
Yes, BlackY is a good shout! He made a great collab track on PHQUASE's album from the Summer Comiket earlier this year, glad I have it :D http://soundcloud.com/phquase/phestival-crossfade And let's not forget this one too http://youtu.be/9PHZ0bnSvg8
